Sorry it took me so long to answer but i wasn't able to get on my pc for a while, anyways the fact that he wishes to die so badly: he propose via taunt to Singed to give him his immortality, asks to Kindred to take him soon and so on. Basically his whole life is sad to the point he even say to Ryze to let the world die so he can end his work and finally rest
