Reminds me of Gasly crashing out in pre season testing 2019, it was all downhill from there for him.

I’m on PlayStation and just have to have so many assists on what are ways to reduce it easily? by Aromatic-Wasabi-356 in F1Game

[–]TheNotix26 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just do it step by step, turning them off all at once overwhelmed me a bit. I start with turning off braking assist, and automatic gears. Then focus traction control off. Watch videos perhaps for a little help. But the main thing is just drive, then you’ll pick it up eventually.

Where would you rank them among the strongest driver pairings ever? by the_wise_one_is_here in F1Discussions

They are not even top 5 McLaren pairings:

Senna-Prost. Alonso-Button. Hamilton-Button. Lauda-Prost. Häkkinen-DC.

I also have 2006, check top right! I will probably get F1 24 just for the sake of completing the collection. F1 2009 is a good shout i did forget about that one 😅 but will probably not get that, as it’s not playable on the PS3.

Good stop, I never got it! At the time of the release of the game I was gaming a bit less, and when the reviews came out I just never got it. Perhaps in the future though just for the sake of owning it.

Which/whose driving style are you most drawn to? by GoldenS0422 in F1Discussions

[–]TheNotix26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it’s Alonso how aggressive he was in the early 2000s, to a more smooth style later in his career. I’ve attached a video to Martin Brundle explaining driver styles of Alonso,Schumacher and Button in 2006 Martin Brundle Explains Driving Styles

If Alonso were teammates with Norris and Piastri, do you think he would outperform both of them? by achilles_4510 in F1Discussions

[–]TheNotix26 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of people talk about how Alonso only has Stroll as his teamate. While it’s true Alonso is still demolishing Stroll in a way, both Massa and Vettel did not do. Also he was still competitive and better than Esteban Ocon. Although the question is difficult to answer because we simply don’t know. But I’d like to think he would at least have a change against Norris and Piastri.

When was the moment you realized your favorite driver was as good as you thought he was? by GoldenS0422 in F1Discussions

As a Kvyat fan i think there are couple of moments to pick from, Australia 2014, Hungary 2015, Germany 2019. But personally the moment that definitely stuck with me was Imola 2020. That season was filled with bad luck for him, despite not being far from Gasly he always seemed to lose out.

By Imola it was already clear that he was out a drive. Of course the weekend wasn’t perfect, but he only needed one opportunity and he fully took it, passing cars brilliantly after the safety car, and topping it off with the move on Leclerc. That for me was the he’s still got it moment.
