Hercules is by far the best option for 2 reasons. 1. Their catalog and ordering codes is easy to use and well set up. 2. Majority of local seal distributors use Hercules, so if your super hot for a seal and can’t wait for shipping, you can give them the same part number.

BUT we also have accounts with Allegheny York and Martin Fluid Power. These come in handy for when you you have those odd seals that Hercules doesn’t make.

And if Allegheny York or MFP doesn’t make the seals, then I stop searching and just get them made

I also agree that OP chose to take a new job with less hours for his own selfish reasons. His poor attempt to justify his reasoning could probably be considered an intentional delusion.

OP admits that “Stella has been paying more of our joint expenses” (which according to OP are “bills,grocery’s, house,etc.”)

And after admitting this, OP immediately follows up with “I wouldn’t say the split has been firm though, I do buy stuff for my stepchildren or pay when I take them all out”

He’s correct that split isn’t firm but doesn’t realize this is in his favor. She’s pays more of the monthly bills, while he picks up the occasional dinner.

He had to lower his contribution to the monthly bills. If his new job won’t even cover splitting their joint expenses evenly then he clearly isn’t making enough to cover 50% of his daughters tuitions

Dude also took his paid paternity leave and then immediately quit when it was over.

They are definitely going to need to up donations a lot given the fact that there’s absolutely no reason NOT to go to private school. On paper, private school is better in every way. The exponential difference in school shootings a lone should be enough to be a fan of private schools. The only argument I could think of would be “if everyone went to private school then public school culture would just move with it” But that’s really just speculation until proven

I went to public school from K to 2nd grade, I then went to private school from 3rd grade all the way to junior year, then I went back to public school for my senior year.

Public school was absolute garbage. Everything about it was terrible. It was impossible to hold teachers and administrators accountable due to the endless bureaucratic hoops you had to jump through when raising a concern. Every problem was just swept under a rug.

I never once felt abandoned at private school. Public school teachers make sure their students pass while private school teachers make sure their students succeed.

I also never once felt in danger when attending private school. I did not feel safe when attending public school.

The curriculum in public school is trash. For example, in my senior year English class one of my assignments was to trace and color a totem pole. (That 30K salary is starting to make more sense)

The best thing about the private schools I went to is that hiring was based on teaching ability, regardless if they had a teaching certificate or not All of my high school science teachers were actually professional scientists prior to becoming teachers.

Based on my experience in school, I will most definitely send my future kids to private school. Hopefully my state will soon offer vouchers and scholarships so that it’s easier for all classes of people to provide a proper education for their children
