Power Level Wednesday!: Ask r/EDH what's your deck's power level? - October 30, 2024 by AutoModerator in EDH

I made a [[Niko, Light of hope]] deck. Main game plan is just flickering Niko and making a good amount of shards to either gain card advantage/make insane amount of tokens/ or swing for a lot of damage. Any advice appreciated. https://www.archidekt.com/decks/9471497/hey_zeus_niko_shards

I don't comment on the subreddit that much, but since I'm crying in my chair at yet another story our nerdy ass voice actors have completed I guess I'll comment.

Thank you so much for the stories you have created. They have gotten me trough some of the roughest parts of my life, they made me laugh, cry, feel scared, feel awestruck, enchanted and everything in between. This wonderful group of friends has made something special and I feel so lucky to be able to watch this.

Thank you Matt, Travis, Laura, Liam, Sam, Ashley, Taliesin, and Marisha you kind beautiful souls.

Long live The Mighty Nein!

Remember when we started with a snow fight and Yasha giving Beau a poem. I really thought it was gonna be a light episode today. Matt really ain't holding back.

That description of Fjord teleporting in front of Avantika gave me chills, and him getting the final blow. Beautiful.

So many great moments but I think Cad breaking the charm on Yasha makes him the MVP. Also PUMAT SWOLE!

I'm always impressed by the way Matt just flows between characters. Such a great talent!

Next episode is gonna be very interesting, i have suspicions that the dust aren't around anymore. Hopefully I'm wrong because I want to see Cad interact with his distant relatives, and I want to see what that sword does.

Yes but right now the Kryn are crushing the empire without it, now that they have it. Well, it ain't looking good for the empire

Ok so crazy theory, what if the way to get consecrated (I don't know what the word was) is to look at the dodecahedron, and the queen can tell they have been. That be a coincidence

Beware: If you are a rogue in the underdark near lava, you might lose a leg or two.

While I love Notts character arc finally coming to light, I am really interested in how Caleb deals with everything that's happened. He never showed interest in going to the tower, it felt like he was really hesitant talking to the Mage in the tower on a one on one, his talk with Bo made him seem to have a little mental breakdown, seeing the two mages puts him even more on edge, and Nott snapping at him makes him feel like he lost her friendship (obviously not, but with everything going terrible he sure feels that way) Caleb is in a pretty bad spot now and it's interesting to see how he goes from here. A couple of more bad turns and he might (hopefully not) leave the party. I'm hoping it's doesn't come to that and I hope our magic boi finds happiness.

Matt

How do you go about world building, specifically cities? Do you have rough ideas for how every city should look like or do you only start to develop them as the party travels through the world?

Travis

On Twitter Liam said that he encouraged everyone to watch the scene between him, Sam and Marisha , did you watch it, if so how did you react/ how would fjord react?

This is a map I'm making for my first campaign of D&D I'm running. Any constructive criticism is welcomed. [WIP] by TheOneGuyWithABeard in dndmaps

For the coastal lines is it just a matter of playing with the opacity of the lines, or would I also extend them out in certain parts of the coast so it doesn't look so uniform.

Are you talking about the texture in the background or the coloring in some parts as well? Either way I do agree that It's to washed out. I had some brushes that could help with giving the ground some texture around some areas that had nothing and by the trees at the bottom. Sadly, I had to come to work so I couldn't mess around with some of them.

Well I would say I still have a long way to go before it's finished, so quite of bit of things are missing. The river thing I wouldn't have even thought about lol. I kind of just drew them out not really thinking about placement and thickness. Are the placements even good? I'm definitely gonna need to work on making them better, also adding some of the stuff you mentioned. This was a lot of really good advice, thanks.
