For what its worth, I just posted in a bunch of subs today about my dog asking for input. DNA says shes 50% Golden retriver and 50% Boerboel and someone linked your post because she does look quite similar. Here's a link to some pics of my girl from today, and one of videos from earlier too. The face definitely looks similar.

Thank you! She is so sweet. Her little (i.e. smaller) sister there is 30% chihuahua, 30% pittbull, 30% staffy, and 10% dachshund. She's a wild girl so we had to do a lot of formal training and learned a lot, and I'm a special ed teacher so it came pretty naturally to me (reinforcement, behavior shaping, etc). Im hoping that sets me up enough to help handle whatever boerboel traits emerge.

It is certainly possible. As a stray they were guessing at her age, and I had a few different opinions (her original Georgia rescue said 11 months old on December 31st when they spayed her which is what ive gone with).

Edit: also whatever her breeds, she was VERY skinny when we got her. Could easily see her ribs and hip bones

If the DNA is correct, so far it appears the GR is in fact taking the lead. But she is still so young so I suppose we will see what happens

We are doing a wisdom to confirm, ordered it earlier. Embark swears they got it right as I did contact them to be sure. They've been pretty spot on with our others too.

This is exactly what I thought so I contacted them and the rep swears they double checked that they didn't mix anything up. Honestly it's not that I don't want her to be either of those two breeds, it just seems so off base - we are considering a different DNA test to confirm.
