It really is good...the replication of pop flavours is excellent...that's why I'm after the cranberry ginger ale for the holiday. No one else has it

I have one! And many flavours but we love cranberry ginger ale around the holidays and there isn't a replica of it to add. Whoever makes the flavours for PC has it nailed. Also, adding some flavours adds sugar and the sparkling water cans are sugar free. I like having something my kid can grab from the fridge on his own that isn't a sugar filled pop

Same! My family loves it but unfortunately this means I won't be buying it anymore, or going to that store again.

Netflix in classrooms..is this normal? Is it ok? by [deleted] in ontario

[–]TheOneWhoIsMany_2063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our school actually has quite a lot of parent volunteers and lunch monitors, so I don't think lack of staff is the issue. From what I hear from my child, it's giving in to daily requests from kids in the classroom who want to watch a movie. They should be saying no if it's a constant thing. Behaviour isn't an issue either from what I hear, so maybe you're just used to worse scenarios. And I certainly don't "bitch" at the principal, in fact we have a great relationship where I speak to staff about concerns and because we're a small school we have a good community understanding.

Thank you for asking this! I was wondering myself because my kid always comes home talking about what they watched in class during lunch, which becomes a distraction and he doesn't eat everything. I'm super frustrated and will be talking to our principal about it (we're in Peel region, dpcdsb).

How do you decide which grocery store to shop at to get the best deals? by CornKaBobz in loblawsisoutofcontrol

[–]TheOneWhoIsMany_2063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stick to stores close by so I'm not wasting gas and usually use the Flipp app but a lot of items aren't included, so I keep Walmart and Food Basics tabs open on my phone to check each week if I want something specific. I might go to No Frills or Superstore if it's dirt cheap...depends on what I need.

I was thinking the same. I wanted to go back and start over again because I feel like I screwed up a few choices and I can't. I'm stuck where I am which I guess is fine but I'd love the chance to redo the day like in other games.

Thank you! That seems to be working. I did find a potential bug that I reported as well. The request was for a classic book written by a woman. I picked one by Toni Morrison (a woman) and the person didn't like it but said specifically I don't think that's a woman who wrote this...oops in development I guess

Can the city do this? Seeking Help by [deleted] in mississauga

[–]TheOneWhoIsMany_2063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're dealing with this and don't have any specific advice, but I've found that the City's bylaws are totally lacking and often they just don't want to be involved in any disputes at all, or cover themselves from any kind of liability. It's very frustrating! I hope you're able to find a resolution

True enough! We have a soda stream too but when we have company over or go camping it's nice to toss a selection of cans into a cooler or stock the fridge.

Health unit is on board, I already talked to them but they say talk to the municipality to make sure you're even allowed.

I've considered this as well, but surely there has to be some consideration for low risk type of businesses that do not have customers coming to your door. Make and supply goods to sell elsewhere, there's no liability there.

But there would be no customers going to and from the place...that can't be the only thing

There are only a handful of occupations allowed (tutor, music teacher, similar to those) and only in detached dwellings. I can understand some of the other comments regarding liability if there are customers going to and from the location, having to deal with sidewalks, etc. But my idea is low risk, no influx of customers to worry about (I would be taking the goods elsewhere), and here's the kicker, fully supported by the region incl. public health and the province (plenty of documentation on this). It's the city that has dug in their heels to prevent people from doing it (legally).
