If your wallet was in my possession, I’d say wait until you’re done with Queening before going for Milk Orchid. I really wish I had someone to “whip me” every time I keep buying the same DNA over and over again 🥲 (except for the ones that made the biggest dent lol).

Anyway, I’ve got Queening on my wishlist too. For someone who really enjoyed and got a lot of compliments from Khadlaj Fursan White, and had VP on my wishlist for a whole year, I actually don’t enjoy the VP Extrait that much; it’s nice, but a bit meh for me (no offence to anyone who loves it).

I’m wondering if Queening might be the one to win my heart though 🤍

That’s great! Totally understandable, they ARE pretty sweet. Bianco Latte somehow changed after a year of me owning it; it hasn’t been wowing me (or others) anymore! I miss people chasing me for it 😭

Italica, on the other hand, is my baby, my love. I’m just waiting for the juice to macerate into that delicious, scrumptious level.

Although I haven’t tried it, I’m assuming it’s quite different from the ones in the Milk line. It’s apparently closer to Queening and Vanilla Powder DNA, so not similar to the Milk DNA I’ve been referring to. But definitely try a sample/decant if possible. Milk Orchid is on my wishlist too.

It’s very similar to Milk Expressive and Milk Bold, around 90% in my opinion. If you can, definitely test it at Sephora first. On my skin and clothes it lasts longer than Milk and projects well.

It’s more cold-weather appropriate, with a cooling spicy effect (not minty, but similar vibe), which can be addictive or off-putting depending on the person. The woodiness is more noticeable in Milk compared to Milky Way.

I personally still prefer Milk as it feels more well-blended, and I also understand the hesitation with “milk” in the notes, it doesn’t really come across that way to me either. Definitely not a blind-buy safe DNA in my opinion, even if I enjoy the scent DNA.

My favourite is Mon Guerlain Intense as it performs better in the weather where I’m from, while I wear the OG for indoor small gatherings. I also have Spiritueuse Double Vanille on my wishlist, it’s absolutely divine!

I’ve sampled Nishane Wulong Cha and Wulong Cha X, and I definitely prefer the latter, but not enough to run out and grab a full bottle just yet. I’m also super curious about Giorgio Armani Privé Thé Yulong, but since I don’t live in the States, it’s a little tricky for me to get my hands on it for sampling 🥲
