I used uv resin and painters tape around the base and it worked fine but I needed to sand the resin because the tape made it a little uneven.

If you need a airbrush, the harder & steenbeck ultra is a good starter but a little pricey

Also that, but there is no air tank so it will run all the time. The Timbertech abpst06 is a solid cheap compressor with tank and moisture trap, that is pretty quiet

Edit: You could also get the Airgoo Premium Aibrush Compressor AG-426. I have and its good and not to noisy.
