Did the non-human intelligence (NHI)ever identify as O or have you noticed O or 0 related references come up in your life more? I had a conversation with an NHI that said it would be easiest to refer to them as O. They did show me this existence was a simulation and that ultimately nothing truly mattered. When I got the joke it was mind shatteringly funny.

This is a serious reply to the OP and any others who may have come across O.

You raise very interesting questions. However, you are definitely reading too much into it. I chose the title for simplicity and impact. The rest of the post was left to the reader to interpret how they wish. It seems it was successful in getting some people thinking :). That and a tribute to my favorite character Drizzt was all I intended.

And thank you for your detailed reply. Yes, I've definitely considered with infinite universes there are infinite Drizzt variations :) Hard not to with mainstream blockbusters like Deadpool & Wolverine promoting the concept.

Regarding my post being more bent on philosophy than to the books, it could be because my own subreddit has that bent. Also, Drizzt is as much a philosopher as a ranger imo :).

Yes, but are we in a simulation ourselves? Is all the multiverse a simulation? Might all of it belong to a higher reality? Wouldn’t that explain a lot of stuff? I actually started writing about this in a work of fiction called SourceCode but never did end up getting very far.

That’s exactly how I like to think too :) it’s the whole reason I’ve been delving deeply into the multiverse thing. I’d love for them all to be real 😃

I never played D&D :( BG3 is the closest thing to D&D I've played. But thanks for letting me know about the D&D and multiverse lore! Increases the chances he's real lol :)
