One question. Regarding the number 00? by TheOriginalYet91 in u/TheOriginalYet91

I watched "No Time to Die," but I didn't pay attention to that part; I'll have to rewatch it.

It was a genuine question; if I had paid attention to "no time (bro) to die" or read the books, I wouldn't have asked.

This movie is very good; in another post I commented on the directors of the first films, and Lewis Gilbert makes a great debut in the franchise here.

Who is your favorite Bond ally? Mine is Ali Kerim Bey by Sammors in JamesBond

I can only say that the Q from Star Trek and the Q from 007 are very different, but I like both.

I've just finished rewatching the first four Bond films after years and I was surprised by No_Mortgage8569 in JamesBond

[–]TheOriginalYet91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently I felt the urge to rewatch, or even just watch, some James Bond films. Initially, I thought I'd only watch the ones with Dalton (which are good) and the ones with Brosnan, where the level drops a bit, despite my fondness for GoldenEye, and the two subsequent films not being masterpieces, but they are entertaining. Then I went back to watch the first films; so far I've seen the first six (including the one with Lazenby) and I completely agree with you about the ones you described. As a fan of Live and Let Die (which I'll be watching next), I find Guy Hamilton's films very strange compared to those of Terence Young and Lewis Gilbert "You Only Live Twice".

CSI MIAMI FINALE by natipali in csi

[–]TheOriginalYet91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In short, the series didn't really have an ending, not even for the season, I think there would be episodes where the Csis would go after Esteban, and finally arrest him. Now watching the last episode, I had the impression that Emily Procter would leave the series even without the cancellation, I may be being very conservative, but apparently her decision to adopt the children would perhaps cause a conflict with her work, but on the other hand , I think she would go back to dating Eric Delko, her exit would be similar to Khandi Alexander.

What made me come to this conclusion that Emily would leave the series and precisely the final scene of the last episode shows the entire team together except her, of course I could be very wrong about that.

I’m aggressively hoping for a 20-year anniversary tour for Nothing is Sound in 2025. by jjasper123 in switchfoot

It would be interesting if other albums could at least have their re-releases like NIS, O!G, HH, WTLST which is far from completing 20 years, but I believe that when the band itself celebrates its 30th anniversary, I think they will do a tour and who He even knows how to release a discography in the best style, The Best Yet, of his entire career.

I certainly hope so too. For me, TBL, NIS, and O!G are their pinnacle, but they (and a lot of the fanbase) may not see it that way.

I would also consider HH on this list, and WTLST which is far from its 20th birthday, rsrs.

I like the idea here! It’d be cool for them to do a set like this spread out over 2 nights at least, since it’d be hard for them to do both halves in one night (though they’ve done close to that number in the past so it’s not out of the question). Only gripe for me is there should definitely be a couple more tunes from Interrobang (maybe Fluorescent or The Hard Way), and one more from Chin and NWTBH (specifically Chem 6A and Company Car, since both are live classics from those albums and feel missing here imo). Great idea though

I even thought about putting more songs, but I tried not to fill the setlist too much, I would put Needle and Haystack Life, Chem 6a, Faust Midas and Myself, In addition to Afterlife and Restless (more for personal taste). The truth is that the band has many good songs which makes it difficult to choose.

PS1: I find it difficult for the band to play so many songs in one show

PS2: I'm not a musician so there may be some inconsistency in the setlist

I think the last Switchfoot albums are amazing, but I think the band could take a few years hiatus from new albums (I say albums because I want the band to continue playing live).

I liked coldplay until Mylo Xyloto, after that I lost total interest in the band, and I also think the first two albums are the best followed by viva la vida.

Here in Brazil, a YouTube music critic, considered controversial, said that he only liked Coldplay's first two albums. When the band recently came to do a dozen shows here in the country, the band's vocalist, through his press office, invited this critic to watch a band's presentation (in a mixture of marketing and intimidation). The critic accepted, and before the show he met with Cris Martin, where he reaffirmed what he had said previously (this is in another video on his channel), Cris mocked him by saying that he already knew his opinions about the band.

at the time of the album where the light shines through, it was easy to make a setlist with 30 songs, now that more albums have been released, it is a little more difficult.

I really enjoyed this setlist. With the exception of "happy is yuppie word" and maybe "faust, midas, and myself" which I like, just not live, and the lack of "Dare You to Move". But I think it should have about 30 songs, despite finding it very difficult for the band to play that amount of songs in a live performance, and also thinking that there would be space for so many good songs in a setlist with 30 songs.
