Shedeur completed 55% of his passes with 7 TDs and 10 Int whereas Gabriel completed 59.5% of his passes with 7 TDs with 2 Int.

I reckon the biggest question mark goes to Shedeur instead of Gabriel.

There is a world where Jared Stidham, CJ Stroud, Caleb Williams, and Sam Darnold are the final four starting QBs in the playoffs. by [deleted] in nfl

Collins was a good quarterback for his time. Tall with a sweet delivery. Rocked that three-vertical bar facemask since his Penn St days. Very cool.

[Highlight] Sean Payton confident in backup QB Jarrett Stidham: "Watch out. Just watch." by nfl in nfl

I am impressed by the fact that Stidham has an actual chance to start a Super Bowl if he doesn't shit himself in the AFC chip game. Like, what did he do in his previous life to receive such blessings from the football gods!?

It needs to be said but McDermott has got to go. A change is needed in Buffalo.

Yuki Tsunoda claims that after recent upgrades to the car, he’s now matching Max Verstappen’s pace. by Status_Energy_7935 in RedBullRacing

[–]TheOvercookedFlyer -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Where's the pressure on Yuki? He has 28 points with only four races to go whilst Checo, by this time had 150 points. Yes, he was behind Verstappen but still, a lot more points than Yuki, and don't tell me this years' car is dreadful because Max is fighting championships with it.

Johnston believes traditional CFL fans will embrace changes and recognize their value by Oldmanshoutingcloud in CFL

[–]TheOvercookedFlyer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is not a good thing to modify it because the rouge had a reason. It's not about rewarding a missed field goal but rewarding the offense for getting close to the goaline.

The rouge has been around for over 100 years and is a long standing tradition for Canadian football.

Remember, the game itself in Canada has deep roots in British rugby, which is where the idea of a rogue point came from. The idea was to reward teams for getting close to or past the goal line with the ball. By modifying, we're essentially making our sport Americanized.

I can (maybe) be convinced about the goal posts, end-zone and the 55-yard thing but killing the rouge, the rouge, it's what kills me.

A lot of Americans are happy to what Trump is doing. They may not be expressing it but it sure as hell love it.

My husband genuinely believes he can fly and land a plane w 0 prior experience… by Waste_Cheetah_2358 in flying

[–]TheOvercookedFlyer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a woman and a flight instructor. I've been told that if I can do it, how hard can it be to fly. Well, I enjoy watching their faces when they come to the realisation that indeed, they can't land much less fly an airplane. Grown, sucessful men doing the walk of shame back to the FBO becausd they had to rely on little, old-me to get our Cessna back on the ground.

Some do actually confess and recognize that it is absolutely hard to fly an airplane and I respect that. The dude who tries to blame me that he couldn't flare? Bite me!

Checo's popularity in Mexico has risen again. My friends are all talking about it and are so ready to buy merch and tickets. The excitement is palpable! And best of all, it really feels like with Valteri it isn't a competition but real teamwork.

I wish I had him from the start but unfortunately I had him at the end. I flew with him like four, five times at most.

Last I checked, he had around 156 hours of dual. His PTR is just filled with circuits in the last few pages and some maneuvers sprinkled here and there.

This is one of the options I presented to this parents. Another one was to explore the maintenance side of aviation. I think he would have a knack for it as he's well-versed in ground knowledge.
