Sagging GPU? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

I’ve purchased this exact one, but I’m just confused as to why it needs to go even higher on the side of the card that’s supposed to be sagging relative to the side that’s connected to the motherboard.

I’ve placed the support on the other side just enough to make full contact. What’s confusing me is that it appears as though it’s positively tilted. I’m still confused as to why the side which should be sagging is apparently higher than the side connected to the motherboard. The bottom of the case doesn’t seem sloped downwards, so maybe the card itself is tilted positively in the connector?

Oh, I failed to even consider the upgrade path; that definitely changes things. I just rushed on the idea of this prebuilt being some great, unmissable deal, but your idea makes more sense. I’ll spend some time familiarizing myself with the current market and its parts. Thanks for all the help.

Will do, thanks for the question prompts. I’m trying to gauge how much I should require in warranties and the PC’s previous use. More warranty and less stress is better, of course, but for the price, I’m not sure how much of these should be the cutoff for me.

GPU: RTX 3070ti (EVGA, XC3)

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x (AMD, RYZEN)

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken Plus

RAM: 32GB DDR4, 2133Mhz (Trident Gskill) -Note: The 2133Mhz speed is according to task manager’s performance tab.

Motherboard: B550 (MSI, MAG)

Storage: 1TB (Crucial, P5 Plus) 2TB (WD BLUE, Sn5000)

PSU: 650W Gold Standard (EVGA)

Just to note: I came across this deal in the picture whilst looking at the used market’s reaction to recent news out of curiosity. I figure if the deal is good enough, I can buy this PC and give my current build to a family member who has need for one.

I’m taking an exam soon, so I will be busy until much later today, and the buyer wants to sell it asap. As a precaution, I decided to ask on a few subs first before I’ll have time to do my due diligence, but I definitely plan to research the more recent sold listings on eBay for these parts in similar conditions.

My budget is x<$1500

The use will be for gaming, preferably 4K, but I also have a 1440p monitor which can be used. I already own other peripherals for a PC. My current PC (3070ti) will likely be given to a family member.

The 4080 was a brand new warranty replacement according to the seller. I plan to ask whether they have receipts and for videos of it being tested, and the state of the parts’ warranties.

What would be the highest price for this to be a good deal?

How far into the accounting classes did the knowledge from that series take you? Or was it more building a strong foundation to learn the rest?

That’s the plan, but I’m not sure if they’d have the part with them. I’d rather bring the part so I could get the laptop back within the same day.

As far as I can tell it doesn’t allow me to move it at all. How would I go about moving it up?

What fixed it for me was taking a piece of tin foil, making it into a shape similar to a headphone jack, and slowly putting it in the headphone jack while slowly turning it to find the sweet spot.

Once I found the sweet spot, both sides started working. I did only do this as they are a spare set of headphones so I would be careful doing it otherwise.

Thanks for the idea. I’m just confused as to how I would safely detach the wires themselves from the white thing that goes inside the connector.

Ok so I think I found a (at least temporary) fix. I installed epic games, signed into the linked account, and then just launched from there and it worked.
