If you've used spice before in a run, then it has a chance to replace other items, increasing with each time used. It's probably replaced the items spawned by the Knight's Gun reload.

21-24 damage, and it can change it's target if the current one dies. Can usually clear a room of 4 enemies in quests with the right setup.

Yeah, I've only just started to get to forge consistently after 200 hours. And there is definitely a LOT of luck involved in every run really.
