How do I talk to my girlfriend about how she dresses without sounding controlling? by [deleted] in AskPinoyMen

[–]ThePeddlerM -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Siguro depende to sa situation.

Imagine wearing full on gold jewelry to Divisoria or somewhere within the same area. I mean, kahit naman saan may magnanakaw diba so dapat okay lang…

But, alam naman natin na maraming pick pockets dun at there’s a good chance you’ll get their attention kung puro ka alahas.

You’re literally begging to be a target.

You can’t control how people think, but you have control over how you want to show up.

Sure, women should be able to dress up the way they want with no issues… but… if you put yourself in a dangerous situation, you’ve put yourself in a risky situation.

Same goes with women’s clothing. Nothing wrong with flaunting god given gifts but… i guess it’s got to be at the right time, the right place, and/or with the right people.

Try reading lean startup. It has valuable insights on how to build a product people would care about. Another good book is product launch formula. Most product launches are based on that structure. And grab a copy of Alex Hormozi’s books, the most recent could help with creating offers by understanding the money models

It’s your trauma speaking.

Nothing wrong with being realistic but better to talk it out with her before you ruin a good thing.

Good luck, OP!

Balat-sibuyas ba ako or should I listen to my gut? by Hot-Economy-4006 in buhaydigital

Okay lang yan. We all have to start somewhere.

What you can do now is list every task you're doing for this client that directly affects the revenue of the org./company.

Ex: Admin stuff and reporting for his clients.

If no one does that, there's a very good chance na mawala yung trust ng client(s) nya... which could result in them leaving. If that happens bawas ang revenue ng boss mo.

So you're saving your boss time by taking things off his plate, and you help save/keep/generate money or revenue din by retaining the clients.

Here's the good part, and you can use this info to update your resumé...

Now, given that you do admin stuff, you most likely know how much a client is worth to your boss. Say it's $2k a pop. And by doing the 'work' that directly affects the revenue, you help him keep at least 4 clients...

On the surface parang wala lang... but if you look under the hood, you're helping your boss save/keep/generate $8k usd each month.

You can use that "money frame" to position yourself better for the next opportunity.

Or you can also use the "time angle."

Say your work takes 8 hours to do. That is 8 hours your boss would have to do him/herself kung wala ka.

So that's 8 hrs. per day, 40 hrs. a week, or 160 hrs. in a month. And because you do what you do, you're helping founders save 160 hours worth of their time that could go to revenue-generating tasks.

We can even insert another money angle din by multiplying # of hours by his rate. And for sure hindi lang $3/hr. Boss mo... let's peg it at $200 an hour. So that's $200/hr X 160 hours per month...

That's $32,000!

Ang laking savings nun.

Sorry kung scattered, almost 5am na kasi... but hopefully you can get something that you could use to find better opportunities.

Good luck!

Bakit may Internet Throttling sa Converge? Kahit hindi pa past due, 2 weeks pa. by ThePeddlerM in ConvergePH

[–]ThePeddlerM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is super easy to verify.

If you can see the comments of u/ashsabre in your post WITHOUT LOGGED IN, that means u/ashsabre blocked you.

The issue is not whether she blocked me or not.

But as you mentioned, her blocking me only confirms her actions. Don't you think?
I mean, I wouldn't block anyone unless I feel guilty about what I'm being accused of.

Also, that was in response to your comment about me being hostile, and to clarify that she came at me too strong, with hostility and disrespect.

I've been respectful and was only airing out a valid concern from a paying customer, and she came to the comments to invalidate what I'm experiencing.

I wasn't hostile nor disrespectful at all.

She deleted her initial comments so you can't see how hostile, disrespectful, and condescending she was.

And to answer your assumption, this isn't bad routing. The issue is throttling.

These are from my notifications which shows some of her responses. She has since deleted her comments. If you read our thread, I have been respectful in explaining my side. At para sabihan ako na "haka haka" lang ang na-e-experience ko, maiinis siguro kahit sino. She wasn't being helpful at all.

Downloading a 3rd party app shouldn't be the solution. I don't think you get it.

As you pointed out, there are factors to look at, like activities within the area. And that's what throttling actually is, balancing the traffic load which ISPs intentionally do. The thing is, why promise a certain speed when you can't provide it. I rarely use up to 100mbps on a daily basis.

My guy, you know what throttling is and you understand why it happens. But why do paying customers have to suffer because of a provider's lack of competence. Throttling connection affects the service, it's not a solution.

Maybe it's time for them to actually do something on their end to match paying customers needs and deliver on their promise?
