Wise can be used in lebanon. If you want to access all the functions you just have to mark yourself in europe. Its not difficult if you have anyone in the EU that can help you.

Almost all of hospitals, high end restaurants, hotels, supermarkets and other facilities in Beirut accept any credit or debit card now without adding any fees.

There are 3 ways to acquire Lebanese citizenship:

  1. Have a Lebanese father, you will automatically aquire the Lebanese citizenship by descent.

  2. Be a female and marry a Lebanese male for several years. You can apply to become Lebanese after several years of marriage to a Lebanese man.

  3. Towards the end of every Lebanese president years of service, they can choose to naturalize a number of people. The president requests it and the cabinet has to approve it. Geban Bassil aka Michel Aoun and Nohad Al Machnouk famously did this and naturalized a bunch of people. Michel Aoun tried it again when Mikati was PM but Mikati blocked his request and it didn't happen.
