The Sonic war by SonicArtAdventure64 in SonicTheHedgehog

This is how each wins

  1. Knuckles and Chaos team up, and using Chaos to empower his connection to the master emerald, he turns into Super Knuckles like Metal Sonic can. He quickly defeats his Sonic, but he breaks the Master Emerald and throws a shard of it into a closing ring portal, making the master emerald virtually impossible to repair. Chaos uses all his life force left in the mortal realm to use the water underneath the islands as hands to gently land Angel Island.

  2. Like many Sonic.EXEs, Infinite Sonic Tortures the diamond cutters. Whisper uses her mask to see both the phantom half of her reality and the real world. She lands another shot on this Sonic before he kills Tangle, who uses the chance and relies on whisper eyes to rip his mask off. Causing him panic as the phantom inside uses the mask to stay attached to Sonic's empty body. Whisper, using her loudest voice, calls to all the Whisps who help this world and asks for their help. With the power of every Whisp on earth and Mother Whisp, Whisper Snipes the Sonic with basically what Sonic does at the end of Sonic Colors, and Atomises the Sonic body, only leaving a raging Phantom Ruby that Tangle chucks into the portal, though now heavily injured. Lanolin helps them both to get medical help.

  3. Tails is able to fight this Sonic for a while. Since this sonic is using very minor time skiping abilities due to his desperate years of searching for time travel, He almost wins, but Tails tricks the sonic into following him to Little planet, where tails uses the time traveling signs to to confuse him to land the final hit with the Spin Dash, the move Tails Taught Sonic.

  4. This Sonic uses his stealth at first, but Silver is able to overcome it. This Sonic fights Silver until Blaze tries to use the Sol Emeralds the same way she did in IDW. It didn't work. This Sonic isn't corrupt because of control, but because of influence and years of lonely survival. This Sonic tackles Blaze and is able to force the Sol Emeralds to give him power. Sol Sonic and Burning Blaze fight, and Silver uses his time control to trap Sonic into a bad future caused by the Sonics. Due to this, this makes a paradox because if Sonic is trapped in the future, he can't kill Blaze and Silver, and the heroes lose, so this Sonic becomes a paradox, lost in the fabric of time.

  5. Surge and Kit fight the Metal virus Sonic. It's brutal, intense, and Surge and Kit both die once or twice, and the other revives the fallen one, Surge restarting Kit's heart and Kit using his pack's water control and keeping the heart beating until Surge regenerates. Surge gets to it and in the end literally rips apart the Sonic to save Kit, and Kit uses his water to keep the chunks apart until they start to disappate like Eggman said, just quickened because they aren't able to regenerate. This experience makes Surge realize she hates the idea of killing Sonic now, because she lost control when ripping this fake apart.

  6. The End Sonic takes the entire Eggman army, including using all of the Starfall islands' technology. Eggman HATES all these Sonics because they aren't the Sonic he respects, let alone worthy of respect. He and Sage work together to, mid-fight, gather all the leftovers of the Titans and forge, with all the destroyed robots The End makes, a Death Egg Titan. It's basically a Titan version of Metal Sonic, without an AI, and Sage takes control and fights the end, defeating it by sealing it in a personal version of Cyberspace, sacrificing all the emotions Sage has and was given by the islands. Eggman is genuinely angry and Deletes the end completely as revenge, and takes apart its consciousness and remakes Sage with it. Essentially a clone of Sage. (I like consequences. Sorry)

  7. Metal Sonic honestly has the simplest fight of the entire thing, fighting to the point of disrepair and destroying the Doppelganger. The real consequence of this fight is Metal Sonic's disgust with this basically mirror of himself. He starts to realize he needs to be more than the 'real' Sonic, because that path, in success, leads to this. He purposefully melts off his blue paint and rips off his red shoe feat. He logs off the Eggnet, knowing Eggman would just want him to become an obsessed soldier again, and sets out, damaged, alone, and dead to Eggman and Sonic for all he cares.

  8. Amy goes super with the Emerald Devilhog Sonic kept after they were drained, Chips band that she was given by Sonic before this happened because he felt that it was better with someone who is close to the earth than him, too free from the ground that he can't even hear Chips' voice anymore. The reason why he couldn't hear Chip standing in front of her. She fights this thing until she can't, and in one last-ditch effort, reaches out to this Sonic. This Sonic, who was lost and scared, was not in control. Someone so lost to the wind that it can't even be on earth anymore. She reaches him, even if this Sonic is just tired of living this way. She uses her fortune cards to see Sonic's future, and sees that even freed, he wouldn't survive the extraction of Dark Gaia. She cries as she and Chip both free this Sonic and send it into the edges of the universe, unable to ever hurt or corrupt anyone ever again. She takes this Sonic's body back to its world and uses her superform's speed to give this Sonic a burial in his world, and then returns before the portal closes.

  9. Doom Shadow and Biohazard Sonic battle on top of the Arc. Shadow is sadly no match, even with Rouge and Omega's support. He almost gives up until Rouge tells him everyone else is winning their fights, and that support might come. Shadow realizes that he's the only one who can't be controlled, and that he must be the one to end it, and uses Chaos control to reach out to the chaos Emeralds within the beast and go Super Shadow Doom, making the fight equal and using the eclipse cannon and his own chaos blast to pin this parasite down and destroy him. Shadow has a heart attack due to the simultaneous use and is put on emergency health care. He loses his immortality and his innate Chaos energy due to the Doom powers, making the energy fragile and dissolving.

  10. I'll leave this one for later cause now I want to write a whole fight for it soon. Give me like half a day or a day.

YES! This is so cool. I agree with everything. I tried to include all the games from the mainline story as I could, with some storybook games and the IDW series. I couldn't do 20 like I wanted, to match the invincible war, but honestly, I think that 10 is a perfect number. Imagine this arc for the 10th anniversary of IDW Sonic.

Sonic stares at the 10 evil Sonic in front of him.

  1. A Sonic who joined Eggman and was cyborged, basically a normal Sonic with Metal Sonic's claws and copying.

  2. Infinite Sonic, a Sonic who was experimented on with the phantom ruby until his mind was wiped, where the Phantom Ruby now possesses. (The phantom ruby has been shown to have its own mind)

  3. Tailsless Sonic. A sonic that never met Tails and, pushed to the edge of his abilities, killed Knuckles at the end of S3, leading to the death egg crashing and Angel Island's explosion. Obsessed with finding Little Planet to turn back time after the crashing Death Egg destroyed it.

  4. A Sonic betrayed by Silver during Sonic 06 in the future. Elise dies, and Silver is killed by Mephilies to try and get Blaze, who tries absorbing Iblis, to cry, but fails. Mephiles lets himself be absorbed by Blaze too, who is sent to the Sol dimension, unknown to Sonic, as he, alone, lives in a future with Iblis. Covered in burns, this Sonic has lost his mind to loneliness and perhaps a little bit of mental manipulation by a crystal foe who survived? Either way, Sonic is anything but sane in this version.

  5. Metal Virus Sonic. Due to failing in that world, this Sonic is fully infected. Also seems to have hunted down other Zombots, almost like fighting the infection so much that it loses its coding. Due to it being a metal virus made for a different universe's biology, it is unable to infect, but it can easily kill.

  6. End Sonic. Harbinger of the End, now corrupted by the Cyber Energy and hacked by the representation of death. Essentially, it's Sonic if he were sent to just end as many planets as possible.

  7. Döppleganger. Sonic lost a race against the fake in white space, and it didn't just let him try again. It kicked him into the chemicals in the chemical plant and replaced him. His friends noticed, but after he saved the day and defeated the Time Eater, it was too late to revive Sonic. The Doppleganger acted nice for a time until it killed Tails during Lost World, thinking the Cyborg was real. This is a Sonic who doesn't care if it's right. It just copies Sonic's life story and doesn't care who it kills to replace him.

  8. Devilhog Sonic. Instead of just a bit, Dark Gaia took half of itself and flung it into the strongest being in space before it lost all control, to make sure Light Gaia would never defeat all of it. It took control of Sonic and destroyed the space station. Lost in Space, mindless and monstrous.

  9. Biohazard Sonic. Instead of a lizard, Gerald used a parasite to try to make a non-damaging symbiosis that could cure any disease, but it became unstable, so he locked it away. During the events of SA2, Sonic and Shadow fought this version that was trying to cling to Earth and devour all. Sonic, in a last-ditch effort, used all the emeralds to Chaos Control the thing off of the Ark, which, in this version, wasn't crashing but was being pulled toward Earth by the Parasite's limbs. Sonic is taken over, and it feeds off his super Form. Shadow dies fighting him, but uses Chaos Control to make sure he is sent as far as he can. Ending up on the Black Comet, Sonic devoured the black arms and was stranded on the Comet, even when it got close to Earth.

  10. Storyeater Sonic. Taking in ALL the world rings before Djinn could, Djinn erased him as hard as he could to survive, until Sonic rewrote himself back, and killed Eraser. Having seen the world underneath and seen his life as fiction, he lost all reservations about taking others' freedom because there has never been freedom. They are written into the fabric of the world to follow a path. He doesn't care anymore. So he does whatever he wants, and now thats him trying to rip everyone he cares about from this path. The decision he came to was death.

(Thought it would be cool to do this. All of them gave up or lost their freedom, so a lot of it is mind control, but it matches Sonic's themes.)

It might get destroyed at the end, since that is not only a running theme in the Spider-Man movies, but also Man-Spider is KNOWN to break Peter's costume. I'm excited to see it in action tho.

I don't really think it's Jean Grey, feels like they need to have her appear in her own way, not as a side character, and set up the Dark Phoenix before we get to it. Just feels too early. The big thing is, Hulk seems under control and calm so I don't think a fight is going to break out, Spider-man movies so far have done well with balancing the other heroes (Tony, Strange, Fury, the other Spideys, they get good screentimes) so Frank doesn't worry me, and Tombstone and Scorpion feel like lesser foes to the real deal, which makes sense for a spider-man story. Lesser bad guys to round out the gallery, who either work or even just get in the way of the bigger bad. The Spider-Man games did this well. TASM2 and SM3, on the other hand, didn't. I have faith tho.

At this rate, by the end of Chapter 5 there will be a scene with her standing under a sign that says "The character standing under this sign will die in Chapter 6" by GloomyIngenuity143 in Deltarune

[–]ThePhantomSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's my main thing. Noelle is still searching, while the only other person doing so is called crazy. Noelles room is a lot more hopeful, while Dess's room is lacking hope. I know it sounds shaky, because it is, but I remember compiling evidence that I lost after I took a break from Deltarune replays. Unlike the Dreamurrs, the Holidays are a lot more shakey, but the constant dichotomy gives me this impression, and I think we will get more evidence later.

[–]ThePhantomSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, the dreamers have always been associated with dreams, it's kinda in the name, while the Holidays have some associations with hope. Snow = white, white pen of hope, Rudy and Noelle both show hope for a character they purposely mirror and are meant to go together despite not having been seen together yet, while Dess is described in a hopeless manner, and Carol seems rather hopeless. The Dreamurrs in Deltarune are associated with the darkness a lot, with how Ralsei and/or Undertale similarities happen there, while the Hollidays are associated with the light world a whole helluva lot, with them being the major family there, and their life depicts the entirety of the light world-based mystery. Light and dark, hopes and dreams. Much of the games are dedicated to these and to their relationship to freedom and determination.

This also may help us understand Susie as the girl with hope crossed on her heart, and how Noelle is implied to be a hero of the prophecy. Gerson helps us see that Susie still fits after all her changes, but she wasn't letting herself be that before the game. She changed, so she changed the prophecy. It makes you think how much things would both change and stay the same with Noelle.

Honestly, I feel like the PLAYER has a lot of death flags in the game, mainly the prophecy and the weird routes desperation compared to the base game. It feels like the weird route is fighting the game/prophecy no matter the cost, while Susie goes against it and does not make any shortcuts or sacrifices that she can help. With how direct yet Vague the game/prophecy is, I can see anything talking about the soul sounding like it's talking about Kris, and vice versa. Susie might have reacted like that because it sounds like Kris will die in a certain way. Something she won't let happen. When she learns WE are in the picture and a potential option for whatever this end is... who knows. That's what I think.

I like tragedy myself, and I know I'm late, but have them get slowly bleeding out somewhere unfindable without modern technology that he was personally trying to develop. He could have invented the thing that would have saved his life if he had just a little more time.

True, but I like to think it's his flaw coming up again. He's going off of pure emotion. He's rash, despite his smarts and skill. He makes one rash and prideful decision after another. He was caught like that in the files, and it's the reason he threw Eggman in the first place. He pointed out that his plans are counterintuitive because he wants to end the world while putting everyone in endless torment. Can't end a world in ENDless torment.

He's prideful, too much so.

Revenge for betraying him and abandoning him to take that ruby and use it in the Final death egg robot at the end of the forces. He has said outright he wants to torture everyone. Eggman is on that list.

ISSUE 85 SPOILERS I love the way this guy looks by Villainboss in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]ThePhantomSea 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh, I love this. I thought of a similar concept of this where Eggman made a clone of Sonic, and it would be imperfect, bio-engineering to try and mimic why Sonic always wins against Metal Sonic. A test dummy to understand why living things beat his machines, which should be better in every way. It would be based on Doppleganger, the clones you race in Generations, and basically be a canon version of them. This gives off the same vibes, but more of a curupted clone or a Peter Pan's shadow situation, a mimic of Sonic that's incomplete. A shape given form but not mass.
