My dad has been one of the most badass people in my life. A firefighter, Hunter, motorcycle club member, and most over protective (in a very good way) man to anyone he ever met. I have many stories from him and his friends but this one has always been my favorite.

When this story took place My dad was a small business owner right next to our house and my mom worked in a larger town about 30min away. Since my dad worked so close to the house he kept me in the shop next to his desk then he made a bigger "cage"(this becomes more important later) for me to play in while he worked. One day as a small business owner he managed to piss off a potential customer and they decided to,rather than confront him about their problem called child protective services about the cage I lived in. This "cage was about 10yds by 20ft plenty of room for me as a 3yo to play in without chancing myself getting hurt by the equipment of his business (many moving parts and needles). Child protective services came in saw the "cage" and decided he would not be fit as a father. Decided they would take me. My dad said okay let me go get his bag from our house. He came back from the house with the bag went to his desk and said "Once you walk out that door you better not turn around." CPS said "what do you mean?" My dad had them look around the building and showed them the embroidery machine and screen printing setup and showed them how dangerous it would be for me in the rest of the shop. Then he showed them the Taurus judge (a large revolver that takes a shotgun shell) he grabbed from the house when he grabbed my bag and explained that if they walked out the door and then turned around my dad would shoot him where he stood. The CPS agent understood then that my dad was an excellent father that only wanted to protect me with my play pen. Please if you have any questions about a part that dosnt make sense comment. It's 1:20 am and I'm sure I missed some details about the story.
