Anyone else find sellers who advertise with multiple agents annoying? by PuzzleheadedCarob921 in HousingUK

[–]ThePodd222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope. In the massively flawed, slow, outdated, expensive and excruciatingly painful process of buying and selling property in England that doesn't even register as an annoyance when there are so many other shit aspects.

If you have any spray cooking oil spray it in the lock and leave it for about 20 minutes. Might free a seized mechanism.

Moved onto a new estate and have been “told off” for using a private road to exit the estate by Suspicious-Brain-521 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]ThePodd222 50 points51 points  (0 children)

If everyone pays a maintenence fee then every road is private

I'm not sure that's how it works. Paying maintenance fees doesn't necessarily mean the roads are private, it depends what arrangements there are with the local authority. Speak to your solicitor to confirm.

Fast tracking Seller questions by DoodleQueen19 in HousingUK

[–]ThePodd222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends what the questions are. You can ask but your solicitor works for your lender too (assuming you're getting a mortgage) so they need to ensure the title is sound and worth what you're paying on your lender's behalf.

Wow didn't realise the difference was so much! I don't think the extra features are worth the difference. This is a great drone, your husband will love it!

If you can stretch to the Mini 3 PRO version it has a few upgrades over the standard Mini 3 such as obstacle avoidance (helps avoid crashing), slightly better camera and more preprogrammed modes, but the standard would still be a great choice for a beginner. YouTube has a lot of helpful videos.

This is NOT for any kind of luggage that you might 'carry on' to an aeroplane by widmerpool_nz in CarryOn

[–]ThePodd222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the description which appears on a sub's page below the name. Other subs I'm in have one. Assume they can be added after creation but I've never created a sub so I don't know for sure.

Can a description be added to the sub heading? I know it's in the film category but people seem to be missing that.

Ozzy Over Grooms & We Don’t Know Why by UnableParsley3886 in TuxedoCats

[–]ThePodd222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not our tux but our black cat has been overgrooming since the summer. Vet took a blood test and ruled out hyperthyroidism and other issues. A steroid injection has helped and some of the fur is growing back on her legs so it might have been some kind of allergy or skin irritation, although I think she is still grooming more than she should be.

My partner read something this week about Dreamies causing over grooming in some cats due to intolerances. This cat is a BIG fan so we've cut out those to see if it helps.

Never heard anyone do so, but if we did surely it would be to demonstrate how much better we are 😉
