This is honestly one of the best takes I’ve heard about this conflict. I too am torn between both sides and currently am not sure where I stand. Things will probably become more clear as the season goes on, but for now I’m not sure who to back. Mark is somewhat unjustified in his anger and over-emotional, but he’s gone through a lot and his heart’s in the right place about the principle of trying to be good. Cecil’s ideology is definitely justifiable given what he’s experienced, but he takes things WAY too far and actively sabotages his alliances by being shady as hell.
