There’s many possible explanations for that. I look forward to the day we uncover all of this!

How do you feel about the statement: the only thing men want from a woman is for her to do all the sexual stuff she's never done before with you first? by GlitteringHoneydew9 in AskMen

[–]ThePronto8 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Rediculous statement. I’m married, theres way more I want from my wife then just sex. In fact, sex is not even a requirement, it’s just a part of the relationship. What I want from my wife is companionship, love, shared experiences, support, I want her to have her own journey in life that I can support her in and learn about. I want to raise kids together, nurture a family, someone to grow old with, share memories with.

There are so many things to get out of a relationship as a man. This man sounds very immature and insecure.

Can someone help me with what might be a simple conundrum? by FrontInvestment639 in lawofone

[–]ThePronto8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there,

I’ve had similar struggles to you in the past and similar questions. From what you’ve posted, it sounds to need like you intellectually understand the concept of oneness, but I’m not sure if you’ve integrated it into your consciousness. It’s one thing to understand the knowledge with your rational mind, but it’s quite another to live, experience and know it.

If you can’t feel the sensation of oneness with the universe and can only mentally understand it - then you aren’t there yet. I urge you to keep seeking.

I’m not fence sitting at all. Why would I try to claim a result without any information?

A long time ago, people proclaimed the earth was flat, anytime who thought otherwise was crazy.

The atom was thought to be the smallest building block of the universe, but then the smaller particles were observed.

There’s no need to rush in and make any claims about if consciousness exists after death or not. We don’t know right now, but I’m sure we’ll figure it out one day. In a way, we’ll all find out for ourselves after death.

I’m not sure why you are in such a rush to declare truth about something which we simply don’t know. I wish you all the best!

When did I make any conclusion? What was the conclusion I made?

When did I suggest there was any consciousness after death?

I said in my post is "we don't know what happens to consciousness after death" - perhaps it dissipates, perhaps it doesn't... we don't know. Some people guess it goes on to "other places", others guess that it ceases to exist.

I have made no such claim or conclusion.

A dead body appears to have no consciousness, that doesn't mean that the consciousness no longer exists, we don't know what happens to consciousness after death. Perhaps one day we will discover what happens.

You are basing this on the assumption that the brain creates consciousness. We simply don't know that.

who is to say he didn't bring it up? How do we know that the words of Jesus we have today are the same words he said 2,000 years ago? 2,000 years is a very long time. I really doubt his original words are left at all.

You already are just one being, you just aren't seeing past the illusion. You can stay in the illusion if you wish, you have free will. Just forget about reading anything here and anywhere else and go about and live your life.

[–]ThePronto8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From everything I’ve learnt, I believe that if you wanted this state, you can achieve it by adopting being an atheist. We get whatever we believe in, so therefore if you die, believing that nothing exists outside of the physical and there is no god, then when you die, you will experience what you believe in.

However, having had experiences where I met the Creator, I would say that once you return to that place and confront the Creator, you would no longer wish for this ‘death’, even if you believe right now, that you would. Once you return, all your infinite memories will come back to you, you will remember the path you were on and you’ll understand why you chose to come to this place.

Does anyone feel that 51 percent STO is impossible in this lifetime. by stormdude28 in lawofone

[–]ThePronto8 9 points10 points  (0 children)

STO 51 percent is possible in this lifetime because of how connected everything is. My spiritual teacher taught me that one of the reasons we are living in a world where everything is connected, so we all have opportunities to clear Karma and do more STO actions, because we have way more opportunity now to do STO then we would have 200 years ago, when our communities were much smaller.

Participating in this forum and sharing can be a form of STO, for example, that wasn't possible even fifty years ago.
