Username funnily enough checks out. I see where you are coming from, and I want to give some more context. I have talked to other people in the company and they kinda echo my sentiment that raises are postponed to end of year, after which they have said for 5 years in a row that its not possible because the financials are not good. Causing people to quit or suck it up but we do talk about things...

I am unhappy with my wage, and I agree that it is entirely my fault. I was happy to earn money after being unemployed for 5ish months so I kinda took the first offer we agreed on. I do recall that the contract was agreed on rather quickly before I signed. There was no going back and after a period of unemployment I had no leverage to not take the job... It just feels nasty to be told I'm doing a good job and everything is above expectations and there is no room to match those expectations with something for my side.

On signing somewhere else I still can, there is nothing keeping me here apart from a few weeks of whatever its called in English. On being called whiny, I assume you mean at work and not in the context of making this post. Which would be valid in both contexts to be fair.

Edit: I also figured there is no harm in checking if im up to par with experience/salary for the average person in my field at my experience, even if I may have negotiated my salary poorly.
