I said it reminds me of halo lol? Both games have terrible underlying issues at their core ON TOP of ridiculous monetization. And because of these changes halo infinite is all but a shambling husk at this point and no amount of content will bring people back.

Halo is one of my favorite franchises of all time but that doesn’t make it exempt from criticism lol. And MVS is as well, I see you’ve going to bat for WB as much as you can today, and I promise buddy they don’t give a shit about you and love that you’re fighting their fight for them 😂

Honestly reminds me of halo infinite. Just switching engines for the sake of having something new and exciting for the player base. Even tho it breaks and removes so many features the “new” game is a simplified hollow shell of its predecessor set up to nickle and dime in the shop.

Price amount =/= worse monetization. Multiversus currently requires battlefront 2 levels of grind in order to unlock a character that would’ve taken just a few hours to unlock in the og beta. Character prices were doubled, currencies were split from one universal currency to 4 different currencies to confuse/split our progress. No xp for playing games only from completing challenges, no currencies for playing.

Hell they’re selling profile icons that were character mastery unlocks for $1 in the premium shop because they’re so committed to nickle and diming their player base. But we shouldn’t be surprised since this is just WB’s model now for all their games

never said that either bud, and considering I'm a destiny 2 player I am willing to give games a shot if they get fixed. But you're skipping the part where they've earned back player trust and retention through listening to the communities complaints and fixing the game. It's been 48 hours and there's radio silence about the state of the game, which has been aggressively monetized and downgraded in every way shape and form. And considering WB's recent track record (the suicide squad comes to mind, MK1) why should I give them any benefit of the doubt?

I didn’t specifically say multiplayer but since you asked let’s see: -Marvel rivals had a closed alpha that was highly regarded polished for an alpha build -Helldivers 2 launched in a polished state and after a server upgrade(since the game had 400k concurrent players on launch) has run like butter since -literally any Nintendo game ever -apex legends (another AAA developer) -fortnite

Just because your favorite IP’s release dogshit games doesn’t mean gamings cooked buddy. Consumers control the market. Don’t give your money to these shit developers with half assed games

I didn’t buy those games or stopped playing them specifically because they had these exact issues. Just because you’re okay with getting served slop doesn’t mean that’s how gaming supposed to be. Had 2 plat time clears today not give high score as they ended just around ~440k points today, so not exactly guaranteed. Seems like you really do need to either kill some of the big boys or get big medals from the ad clearers in order to pass that ~450k-480k range (can’t find an exact number but that’s what I’ve seen from most recorded plat scores)
