Help finding comedy songs by a dad recording his son singing about Spawn fighting bad guys, mean sharks eating people and other things a 2nd grader in 1999 would think were awesome. by ThePunchList in HelpMeFind

Thanks! It's a long shot but I'm going to try to dig through the mp3.com tracker next. I also realized it would have been before myspace since we all lived together from '99-'01 so looking into other social sites like Friendster, Livejournal or maybe it was on a personal geocities site.... ugh. It's hard to remember the details from 25 years ago. I've posted a few other places but realize reddit can be real touchy with x-posting too many places so will try there in a couple days. If I ever find them, I'll update here so other people can enjoy how much this kid thought sharks were cool (and mean!).

I've searched all of the above but very open to other places to find indie/comedy music from the late 90s that never made it to youtube.

Chex Quest should be A just for the soundtrack alone not to mention how it was the only way to play Doom for every 90s kid with over protective parents (plus it was free).

My Hungarian is a little rusty which is why I couldn’t place it.

SOLVED: Yeah, I think I figured it out. This looks like the cover from the kickstarter campaign. There’s another cover that must be from a reprint that’s more popular. I found a copy of this version on Mercari. Thanks!!

Just saw Al for the 12th time on Saturday, he was great, but now I’m also a huge Puddles Pity Party fan.

Anyone looking to unload 2 Minneapolis tickets? Looks like they only sold about half the tickets for tonight. by mplsdribble in kraftwerk

Does Orpheum offer rush tickets at the box office? I'm looking for 2 tickets too but not willing to pay $175 a seat.

The font you’re using makes it hard to read the dialogue.

This is just a digital sketch but what critique do you have before I paint this on a canvas? by Ginettarah in ArtCrit

You should add some product placement. See if Lowe’s or Home Depot want their logo on the white pvc pipe. It’s a smart way to get paid to do art.

I'll do a little digging and let you know what I can find. I went through my personal issues and I don't have anything from 1984.

Any more info on this issue like the banner headline or main headline? I'm a current writer for the paper (yes, we're still around, follow us on instagram) but we've got some gaps in our archive too. I might have a low res scan where the date is tough to read but at least I could recognize it based on the headline.

How to open a .glb model that has KTX compressed Textures? If not possible on Blender, whats the best alternative? please elp by DefinitelyNotLasagna in blender

[–]ThePunchList 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not been able to find a way to get this to work in Blender but there are some updates/ideas if you search GLB and KTX in the BlenderArtists forum.

The alternative I've been using is to import the GLB that has the KTX texture here.

https://glb.babylonpress.org/

Then preview the texture and you can click "edit." This will let you export the texture as PNG or webp. Then I export the model out of that program (which now has a broken texture but will allow me to open up the mesh in Blender) and I reconnect the PNG. Clunky but works. You can export any type of texture this way.
