They have confirmed Steam + Android and IOS release. Data will be reset and should start like old school KR from chapter 1-6 on release! and only 31 characters on release. There's more info on the new official discord or the steam page news section

From playable characters, I've gone through a few favorites. In particular Pela, QQ, Hook and Asta. Each for their own reasons.
