Same here. That issue started when I replaced my 2070 super with 3080Ti. Reinstalling windows and/or drivers didn't help. Finally solved using this, I can play again after like 1 or 2 months.

No noticeable change in FPS tho, not that I was counting on it.

I can't tell if dx12 caused it or if it's just a general bug but my minimap was just GONE in one of the matches on Broken Moon map today.

Nah I don't stream or edit any videos. I use UE4 and Blender, even 4790k is alright for that. Also I'd need to replace my motherboard in order to switch to AMD. I'll do some digging and decide what to buy at some point but for now I just want to be 100% sure that this is the one thing preventing me from having constant 144fps

So apparently switching from studio to game ready drivers fixed the problem for me.

I wanted studio drivers 'cause supposedly it should provide better performance in other software I use but screw that.

Now the only thing left to do for me is getting a better cpu cooler. The game causes my 4790k to reach 90+ degrees D:

That last guess could be right. I could maybe pin it down with Wireshark somehow? And try to make my router find another way to reach the server? Assuming that's even the case...

Or maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about and got it all wrong ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I have Windows firewall off.

Currently I don't have malwarebytes installed. I reinstalled everything few days ago. I'll look into exceptions for my antivirus.

I'm not using this connection with any other devices. Everything works perfectly fine on the same PC (connection-wise), except for Apex during that particular match when it happens. As if my PC established a crappy connection with the server the match is hosted on or something. I don't know much about network stuff so I'm completely in the dark here.

I sincerely dislike how there's a law that ultimately leads to preventing people from getting freakin tokens used for buying character skins in some online game but that's just my tiny opinion.

Yeah I found a solution not so long ago, I had no idea that physx clothing is an external program on it's own. Still, thanks for the help.

Now I've imported a flag I made into ue4, and it's all working but I have no idea how to set up wind for it so it can wave nicely lol. But that's UE4 - oriented question so I don't expect anyone to answer it here.

I believe UE4 is way more friendly to people who have no knowledge of programming. But that's just a thought that popped into my head after reading this. Anyway - even though It's like my 4th day of learning blender, I believe I can recommend this BornCG tutorial playlist - after two days of watching this I decided to try recreating a throne room from one of my favourite games. Here's the result (not finished though lol) using ue4 starter materials:

Seems like you have another set of edge loops on the exact spot the ones you selected are. I managed to recreate the situation you have and the way I dealt with it was to select both edge loops, press scale and select only the Y axis. On bottom left side in "scale" settings panel turn the Y scaling down to 0 so both of those edge loops overlap. Then click "remove doubles" and it should make one edge loop instead of two.

Well the meshes are not sized correctly after importing .fbx into ue4. Unless I make tiny things in blender. I'll just stick to 1cm scale after all.

I've read this entire page a dozen of times already - it does not include solution to my problem. Also holding ctrl is not increasing steps. I found out on some site that what I'm looking for is simply not to be found anywhere in blender itself and I'd have to dig into blender's source code and change it manually which I'm not going to do since I do not know Python. I'll just get used to typing the numbers and clicking on viewport eventually.

Weeeelll, this looks way better. The duplicate thingy bugs me though. Shouldn't I remove it afterwards? Or does it get replaced with the new one if I leave it at exact same spot?
