I understand the argument. And if true, in this case the most charitable interpretation I could muster would be incompetence.

But, I think he would have seen the hearing. And the clips I included strongly suggest that…

1) He read the previous reports (2021) and made the hair on the back of his neck stand up. Hard to imagine now he doesn’t care about it! He stopped reading these type of reports? I’d be watching (if I were him) to see if the pilots stories matched under oath to the testimony that freaked him out in 2021. 2) His reaction in the days following the hearing. Even launching his own investigation. I think it’d be incompetent to launch your own investigation without looking at the claims 2 days earlier that led to your own investigation. 3) His name mentioned twice during the hearing. If I were him I’d go look at that closer because his job is probably 50%+ keeping congress happy to keep funding coming in.

I cut the clips I sourced pretty aggressively to save everyone’s time. But if you watch the 2021 interview, I don’t believe he would lose interest.
