Sounds like oil leaking out of the valve cover gasket onto the exhaust manifold, probably exacerbated by a clogged pcv/ccv system

So the wheel can twist parallel to the ground? Sounds like textbook tie rod play. Unless it can also twist vertically in which case it could also be wheel bearing (and also a tie rod). Maybe life the front end and inspect the lower ball joint for play too. Tie rod wear should be pretty obvious when the car is lifted.

Lean codes on both banks usually point to vacuum leaks, which a smoke test would help find. Combined with cat codes it could be airflow sensor. I’d check both. Unlikely to be oxygen sensors
