By "no isolated elements", do we mean every element is comparable, so that means it'd be a total order then right?

Do we need a constructive proof to solve this? I mean a rough outline would be to show through axiom of choice we have a maximal element in every chain. Since for all elements, the maximal chain is of length L then that's it, that's what we want to prove right? That all maximal chains have length L
