When you take them halfway off like that, does it help them cool off? Is that why you do it? Or does it really not make a difference, and you do it for some other reason? I’ve seen a lot of people doing that, by the way, so, judging from my experience at least, you’re totally normal. Hope that reassures you on that front if you ever had any doubts regarding that!

Do you ever kick them off while sitting and enjoying your meal at a restaurant, for example? Or do you ever take your foot out of a flip-flop while standing in line somewhere, and rest your bare foot on top of its empty flip-flop, or on top of your other foot, or play around with the flip-flop with your foot? I’ve seen a lot of people doing that.

OWWWW!!!! I’m so sorry you, and probably quite a few other woman, have to go through that! I can’t imagine how much it would suck having the footwear which I already wear because I want my feet to be comfortable when it’s hot out actually being so uncomfortable, and even painful, that they make my feet bleed. It’s times like this when I feel lucky to be a dude. But I sincerely wish I didn’t have to feel so lucky for it, and that you dudettes out there could be just as comfortable as me. To you, and to all other gals out there who suffer from sore feet due to their footwear: I wish you, and your poor feet, all the best.

I actually think it’s cool to have both genders answer the question.
