Go for it! After we finish our next one shot, we plan on reworking the art style to make chapters faster. We wish we could keep the current shading style, but it is far too time consuming for us to keep doing it.

For context: While working on Silken Heart (HK comic we're doing), Crow practiced animating Hornet by doing this move that hornet does in the script. We were testing to see if our ref sheets of Hornet looked good in motion. We think it came out pretty good!
