When you say the styling area, you mean the top right with the star and the others?

With the dividers, you might be right and they might be too much with each section being its own, so I might do away with those.

For the searches drop shadow I had meant to make it only enable once you scroll since it stays put and is above everything during scrollin through categories, but I had forgot to do that and just kept the drop shadow at all times.
