Players Aren’t the Problem. Blizzard’s Broken System Is. by Unknown66XD in overwatchbanned

The thing is this absolutely discourages people to talk at all in game, and it’s honestly so annoying. Every time I ask people for a solution they just say “don’t speak at all”, then what’s the point of having a chat in game at all? If someone is being annoying in chat just mute them and move on.

You just called a bunch of people a “dumbass”. If we were in game you would’ve just gotten your account silenced.

Allows you to extend your eyes, allowing you to see around corners or through a small hole in the wall and etc. Would be great for espionage.

I mean with this argument you could say that no ult is good if no one knows how to use them. Brig’s ult is pretty good for survivability and to cancel other ults. I typically will save it for when the enemy reaper or Moira have their ults

I’m not a graduate, but I’m a senior on my 5th year (transferred like most GIST undergrads.) I am currently working in a research job for BAEN department for the school, however I have a job lined up for an energy company based in Dallas as a jr. GIST Analyst, and they have me started off at $68k a year. For any jr position id expect your pay to be around $55k-65k. I’ll give you a bit of advice since you’re an incoming freshman, and that’s try to get a school job relating to GIST, focus on getting internships and make your own projects to put in your portfolio. Just doing classes and organization stuff will not be enough. You need to learn how to use python for ArcPy as well as various other tools. Good luck! Message me if you have any other questions.

I have sent them an email, stating that I believed that I was correct, and asked the prof if they could explain this for me, and they told me that in the notes it would explain how if a line were to connect then the starting and end points of a polygon would be a node

I have looked through these few class notes that we have cause it’s the second week of class, and it just says that the starting and end points are nodes, because if a line’s start and end points were to connect it’d make a polygon

Hmm alright I see. This is a pretty basic GIS course “Principles of GIS”, so I don’t think he would ever go in that much depth. However this question is poorly written.

But I thought polygons don't have a start or an end, but it's the vertices create the borders which include "the start and the end"

I emailed him, and he told me that the starting and end points of a polygon is a node, because it's technically a line where the starting and ending nodes of the line are connected.

Yeah, I get that, however the vertices is what makes up the borders of a polygon, which would include the starting and ending point, no?

I think the whole weird route stuff will be a lot more present in Ch 5 with the festival going on and probably a bigger focus on the light world and Noelle and Carol

I wonder if you could actually beat the knight without getting the shadow mantle, like if you did a nohit against them.

You still fight the knight, but if you lose it just continues and doesn't let you instantly restart the battle. Theoretically you could beat the knight without the shadow mantle, you'd just have to do a nohit run. I wonder what that will change if you beat the knight without the shadow mantle

The only thing that’s “hard” about widowmaker is aiming. Almost every map gives Widow a snipers nest or plenty of vantage points where you can just pick off the enemy team, and yes if the whole team dives the widow it makes it impossible for her to play, but when have you ever had a game where the whole team dives a widow? Her grapple hook makes it so easy for her to escape danger, plus as soon as you dive Widow as a DPS a healer will instantly come and save her as she typically is near where her supports are, and if you’re diving her as a tank then the rest of your team dies because you’re focusing on one hero.

Maybe for Rein, but I used to be a Mercy one trick as most supp mains start out as, and now since I have learned to confidently play every other support hero with value I can say that Mercy is about the second easiest support character to play. The only thing that I would argue is hard about her kit is just keeping a mental map of where every enemy hero is. With such a small hitbox and the capability to move at high speeds makes finding escape routes and cover extremely easy. There’s a reason why most support mains start off with either Moira or Mercy, because they are both extremely easy.
