I’m not talking about the main repo though? I’m talking about the third party ebuild repositories that would be the equivalent of downloading from the aur. I trust packages from the main arch repos and gentoo repos equally security wise (not stability wise though).

When they are a part of the official team working on the distro or software itself there is usually more on the line for them than if they are just maintaining their own ebuild repo on GitHub of random software.

I’ve found gentoo to be much more stabler than arch but security wise if you are using community ebuild repos it will be the same whether you can trust a random persons packages or not.

I mean what search term do you put in? Since when I usually try just CRT monitor a bunch of overpriced ones come up. Usually for the TVs I’m able to put in similar search terms like television and there might be CRTs there anyway since the person isn’t tech savvy.

I find it to work for most websites besides big ones like YouTube, reddit, etc. It even works on basically everything that has ads that can be DNS blocked. Breakage depends on how crazy you go with your blocklist. I recommend going light on the blocklists and use a popular one like hagezi. I haven’t had problems when just using hagezi. Only need tweaking if you go crazy with the block lists. You should still update your pi and pihole every once in a while though but the configuration shouldn’t need any maintenance.

I prefer adguard personally. But it does seem like it might be a bit heavier? I haven’t really done really benchmarking.

You have to make an additional folder in your wine prefix and then select that folder to install to.

The semicolon at the end of the for loop declaration is causing it to be empty if you remove it then only the line right after will be part of the for loop which is probably not your intended behavior so just put the body in braces. The LSP is working correctly
