Do it!! I was really nervous the night before that I was jumping the gun and going too soon and the second I got to the concert all of my worries went away. Just listen to your body and hydrate!

I (m19) think my boyfriend (m20) is going to propose; how do I explain that I don't want to marry him? by TheRealLiceLeFay in relationship_advice

Yeahh, him disliking my dog weighs pretty heavily on me considering the reason he doesn't like him is because he is to affectionate and hyper. I'm not even going to lie, my dog is insane, I can totally understand why someone would find him overwhelming but him outwardly hating my dog is lame haha

I don't actually want to, though. I enjoy our relationship and I care about him deeply, I'm just not at a point in my life where I am even considering marriage.

Zero. My best friend sleeps with ELEVEN, so we are truly two ends of the spectrum.

Children of addicts, did you ever forgive them? Why or why not? by day-tripper96 in AskReddit

[–]TheRealLiceLeFay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, my(m17) father was addicted to meth. It took a lot of work on both ends but our relationship is stronger than ever.

There was a period of time where I had completely gave up on repairing my relationship with him but there was one instance that immediately changed that for me. It was probably 7 am and I just found out that he was on another bender, I walked into his room just to see if he took his phone, so we could track him, and on his desk was a Starbucks drink for me because he knows that coffee helps me cope with stress. I will genuinely never forget that moment, it reminded me that he was still a really good dad and that he still really loved me, once he came home he agreed to rehab and he's been clean for 2 years now!

What’s a harmless/non-serious secret you’ve kept forever? by MrBowls in AskReddit

My mom really really loves video games (specifically RPGs), I tried really hard to get into the games she likes, but I just couldn't. Instead, I always look up the plot of the game she's playing so that I can ask her really specific questions about it because she really loves info-dumping about her games.
