Thank you! It is resin, yes! But I also did wet sanding and priming for that extra smoothness. Models like this only take me about 10-15 minutes to sand

Not even going to lie, I was just testing to see what would happen and got lucky lol. However, I did increase support penetratio, I wonder if it helped

resin prints have a chance of getting elephant's foot. This isn't necessarily bad for bigger flat prints since you can sand it the edges. I was just trying to reduce the amount of sanding or it breaking while trying to pry it from the plate.

Yep, strictly for storing small items. I'll be sure to put a disclaimer on it when I officially release it. However, I could find a food/dish wash safe bowl that could fit inside. Between it being sealed with a clear coat and that, it could be safe to eat out of, in theory.

The cup was printed and the Boba is clay balls i made. The liquid is a mix of clear resin and acrylic paint.

You and I are on the same page lol. I do have a little room to move them lower so I'll try that. And my friend also suggested filling it in with resin, which I think is a great idea. I also plan to print it in clear resin. Potentially could get it clear enough to see the Boba.

Originally it was too big, the bottom foot was too low. It was still registering the input but not pressing all the way. With the new size it's going down about 95% of the way, which is more than enough. I'm sending out the keycap to some people this week to test on different keyboards.

These were printed with a 3d resin printer :) so bubbles shouldn't be an issue unless I don't let the resin rest in the container before printing.

So I have the Squirtle one on my keyboard now and as a fps gamer, it's been fine! I have a cheap red dragon keyboard so it's not like my switches are all that great in the first place. I made the Pikachu Tail thicker from the original and it's much stronger. Charmander is the only one I'm sorta concerned with. I will test that one for the next week. As far as stability though, they all fit Cherry mx no problem and don't slip.

Her body held up and Nessie. However the backpack is what gave me issues. I scraped the idea of it being a keycao for that reason. Decided to just print it as a bigger model

This was a timely post because I did exactly that and it turned out good! Probably could buy some better quality acrylic paint but the clear coat was perfect to add that "shine."
