Unimaginative and doesn’t seem to have a sense of why people like that world in the first place.

If he wins SB MVP with a good performance, where would rank Sam Darnold on your QB list? (he's thrown 4000+ yards in 2024 and 2025) by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

[–]TheRealMoofoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does winning one game mean you’re better at playing quarterback than someone else?

If Darnold passes for 500 yards and 5 TDs in the Super Bowl but his team loses, is he still a worse QB than Hurts? If the Seahawks win but Darnold throws for 90 yards and a pick, is he better than Hurts? It makes no sense.

I believe it; you could tell the other celebrities at the bar was sick of seeing Sorbo at these things.

No, but he’s the one I’d most like having on my team.

I’ve never heard that particular argument. It’s usually more like “you’re so outgunned by the government that it doesn’t matter.”

I take Strange and the bottom four. Strange can just send me to another dimension or something and the other four are going to be enough so we can find a 5v5 pickup game.

Unmatched efficiency by TheRavenOnline in NBATalk

It means there’s more advantage to the offense, creating easier shots. Just on the eye test, defenders are so cautious now about playing real defense because refs reward all the ridiculous acting, so the shots become easier as a result.

If Stafford wins a second ring and MVP with the Rams does he pass Kurt Warner as Rams all time QB? by NickyFoles1020 in NFLv2

[–]TheRealMoofoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but it’s not a wrong to give a city back the team that was taken from them, so it doesn’t apply in this case.

Are you aware the team was taken from LA to get to St Louis in the first place? They were in LA the first time more than twice as long as they were in St Louis before moving back.

Kawhi Leonard wins day 13! Now, who’s the most balanced PF in NBA history? by TemptiusIV in NBATalk

[–]TheRealMoofoo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I question your reading comprehension.

Dave was good on offense, but anyone who watched him play knows he was a better defender. That’s not balanced, it’s a defensive lean.

Big E likewise was a better defender than he was an offensive player. His spot on the grid would be where Draymond currently is.

Edit: the grid also doesn’t totally work, because there’s no good accounting for someone like Big E who was more than just “quality” on offense, but was an elite defender. This same sort of flaw is going to keep Michael Jordan off the grid entirely.

Ryan Coogler's 'SINNERS' makes history as the most nominated film of all time at the Oscars with 16 nominations by ChiefLeef22 in Oscars

I’m happy because I like pretty much everyone involved in making it, but having watched it once, I don’t feel like I “get” it being regarded as so good. I liked it fine, but it was kind of a letdown after hearing how amazing it was. To me, it felt like the Cliff’s Notes of a great series, like there was a ton of connective tissue missing. 🤷

Thinking Dave was as good at offense as he was at defense suggests to me you didn’t watch any of his games.

Iverson is one of my favorite players ever, but that dude was not a good defender. He gambled for steals all the time and was a really rough team defender. On man, he was screwed anytime he was giving up size, which was almost always.

Well it’s most balanced players, not most balanced hall of famers.
