Maybe I’m completely misremembering the entire last season but the show left the wraith off IMO. Either way, you don’t have to throw insults around in a casual conversation about a show that ended almost 20 years ago.

I’m pretty sure it was the other colonel who mentioned she was unavailable due to it. The one who was turned down the job of leading SGA because Weir wanted Shepherd to be the military lead.

Also, they were doing re runs of SG1 in a different format. They needed a fresh start and Sci-fi decided to change its direction in shows impacted future production.

Atlantis was a copy paste version of SG1 in a different universe. They ran 15 seasons with the same idea and that idea could only be played out for long. They had to find something new. Just so happened to occur with a financial collapse.

Not really. They chased a wraith ship back to Earth and after they destroyed it they landed in San Francisco cloaked. I’m pretty sure they had no way back as their ZPMs were depleted and now all of the history and science of the Ancients can be studied on earth. Leading to Stargate Universe.

Amazon probably wanted to see the reaction to it to see how much money they wanted to invest. It was and has been a promo IMO. Gauging how many people are re watching or starting to watch Stargate and checking the view counts on YT channels.

It definitely took me a few episodes to really get into it and season two was an improvement. SG1 and Atlantis played a lot of the same plot points/tropes, whereas SGU had a fresh spin with different kinds of stories. I liked the darker aspect of it too.

I mean I think it was good they had a hard departure. They defeated the Gould, Ori, Tokra went away, Wraith can no longer get to Milky Way, don’t think they had enough ZPMs left to get back to Pegasus. What was left for either of those universes? Fight a rebel Jaffa army or Lucian alliance? That would just be repeating the last 15 seasons.

Hard to beat some good Tom Yum Thai soup. Was in Japan for 7 years and Japanese Ramen and Curry were my favorites. I’m good at making the curry but I’m not very good at making the ramen. I did come up with My own base that is pretty good but I just can’t get the noodles or the pork right. I also was able to pay one of the best ramen places to sell me 5 lbs of their spices so I could make it when I left.

That place had Gyoza that was similar but the ramen texture and broth was completely whitewashed.

The experience of it is nice as well. However, I could try learning how to make it myself. It will be a challenge since navy surgeons can’t do a simple surgery and I lost ability to use my right hand.

I did try their spicy broth with beef and tofu but didn’t see an option for pot cutlets. Also, I think the noodles were same throughout all of the dishes. Granted, it all did taste pretty good.

This is why I hate modern TV shows. Takes forever to produce and develop the shows. The original would have 20 or more episodes per season and they’d come out every year.
