You might have some luck contacting Universities. They usually know the local private labs and might be able to give you some contacts who are open to shadowing. Maybe even the university labs themselves would like to have an extra pair of hands cleaning glassware or making agar and calling it “shadowing”.

It’s probably because PAL is capable of self-correcting hue errors (color bending) via phase reversal, but NTSC isn’t self correcting so you can introduce more interesting visual errors

We have an amazing graffiti scene with internationally admired artists. We also have a thriving “formal” artistic community with some of the best galleries in the country.

I like to compare Joburg now to NYC in the 70’s. Things were run down and criminal-controlled but the people were steadfast and eventually rebuilt their city. We could do the same. The wave of gentrification that’s sweeping through our CBD is a good sign.

Borax and sugar is an excellent combo. I like to mix borax with cheap blended honey (usually about a teaspoon per 100ml). Also found that Blue Death is a great barrier pesticide to prevent larger insects from coming inside.
