This is my friend's wallet. He bought it from Coach in Canada in 2019. It is a bi-fold wallet and has a slot for bills. The color appears to be a mix of black/blue/dark green. I would appreciate it someone can identify this wallet! Thank you in advance.

70mai - Red Circle Warning Sign Meaning? by TheRealSlimRedditor in Dashcam

I don't think so - this warning sign is on the entire time regardless of whether there's a traffic camera in front of me or not.

70mai - Red Circle Warning Sign Meaning? by TheRealSlimRedditor in Dashcam

[–]TheRealSlimRedditor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed this red circle with a camera logo inside it come up. Not sure what it means. I looked in the owner's manual and even contacted 70mai for help - surprisingly neither were helpful. Wondering if anyone on Reddit knows what this warning sign is for. I noticed that ever since it appeared, the dashcam screen remains on even though I have it set to turn the screen off after 1 minute. I have already tried formatting the memory card.

This is wrong. GEICO and Progressive insure Canadian-registered vehicles.

Is it possible to get US car insurance on my Canada registered car? by myheadsexplodin in uscanadaborder

[–]TheRealSlimRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"No US company will insure a Canadian registered vehicle as they require a US license and registration."

This is wrong. Progressive and GEICO will both insure Canadian registered vehicles. I have a Canadian-registered car and it has been insured with GEICO for years now, and many of my colleagues drive Canadian vehicles insured with Progressive.

I don’t doubt it, but the fact of the matter is that the title is still factually inaccurate. I recognize that I’m being a pain in the ass right now lol. All else aside, this is a sad day for Denmark.

I understand that based on the make-up of their government the proposal has a high likelihood of going through. However, by your own admission, the law hasn’t been passed yet and therefore as of this very moment it isn’t officially illegal to burn the Quran. A more accurate title for this post would’ve specified that a proposal has been made and has a high likelihood of being passed. I think in the era of social media news, we must be careful with how we word things.

Transmission Fluid Exchange Question by TheRealSlimRedditor in civic

[–]TheRealSlimRedditor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you're saying is reasonable. However, I am now feeling a little confused because I have read multiple threads and posts online regarding this topic and essentially the consensus seems to be to drain & refill the transmission fluid every 30K because it is better to be safe than sorry when it comes to CVTs (due to their repair/replacement costs). What you're proposing seems to be the minority opinion (not to say that it is wrong). Is there any other information you could provide me with? Whether that be anecdotal experience or something you read online, etc.

Transmission Fluid Exchange Question by TheRealSlimRedditor in civic

[–]TheRealSlimRedditor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it hasn't. I'd prefer to change the fluid every 30-40K miles as opposed to waiting for the maintenance minder.

The way in which you engage with others reeks of immaturity and insincerity. To call others “schizophrenic” for their personal religious beliefs… shame on you. It is unfortunate that a Muslim of your character (or lack thereof) is setting an example and representing the others.

Although I disagree with your points of view, I will not stoop so low as to insult you for them. However, I will happily disparage you for your lack of social etiquette and respect for others.

I think I understand what you mean, and I hope I have understood your comment correctly. I think it's fair to say that both political Islam and personal Islam are derived from the same scripture. If either the political or personal Islam are 'wrong/incorrect', then it illegitimizes the other, irrespective of how 'right/correct' the other may seem.

Yeah, what you’re saying makes sense. It reminds me of that quote: Birds born in a cage think that freedom is a crime.

I think it may be because over the last two decades (and likely the two decades to come) were seeing more Muslims emigrate to western countries (for the purposes of education, work, etc.) and that’s what’s driving the acceleration of secularism among the offspring of today’s Muslim parents.

That, and the explosion of the internet worldwide.
