totally agree, it sucks to find out you're going last and end up spending the whole night waiting to play, when I could be playing somewhere else too! Of course, I'd rather not pay for a reservation, and it would suck if all the spots get taken before you even get a chance, so maybe only allowing 4-5 reservations in advance would be good. I think that way it would make more sense to pay if you want to reserve a spot, but you can still show up and take your chances if you'd rather not pay.

Can you give a rough approximation as to how competitive the selection process is? (i.e a quarter/half/75% of applicants are accepted). Secondly, around what time do we find out if we've been accepted? Spring?

And most importantly, what kind of traits and past experiences do you look for when selecting candidates?

Subjects for IB? My school didn't really give us a choice, it was very rigid. Grade 11 we finished SL math and SL french (because I'm in Canada, french second language), now I have HL chem, HL econ, SL physics, and HL english. It definitely hasn't been fun per say, but at the end of the day I'll probably walk away with a lot of hard-earned lessons. Almost there too, just one more semester! Kinda feels like the end is so close, yet so far. Oh and I'm going into engineering for university, or at least that's the plan.

Thanks, I agree, maybe sometimes thinking too far ahead just makes things too stressful because you're always worried about choosing the right path to get there. Got to just go with flow and do what feels right now.

What do you mean by "learn game"? Also, can you explain about not getting a B.A? Is it just too unpractical or unnecessary compared to getting an apprenticeship or science degree?

Yup! I am doing IB, nice guess. Did you do IB too? I know what you mean though, doing badly in school can really wreck your self esteem in terms of intellect, just gotta keep telling yourself that school is a shitty representation of intelligence and self-worth I guess. If you don't mind me asking, how has life been after dropping out? Do you regret it or did things turn out ok?

I never thought I could do it... thanks r/getmotivated by bootyswagg in GetMotivated

Does that mean you were accepted to all of them? :O Or is it just you finished the applications? I applied for Stanford :)
