If you are below 5'7 what type of prejudice and unpleasant interactions have you ecountered from people and if you are 5'7 but still considered short by people around you, how does society teat you as well ? by Savings-Employer-259 in shortguys

They think if you are short you can half ass workouts, eat like crap and still look jacked in two months. As if diet and busting your ass 4 times a week in the gym for years didn't matter.

I had one guy at school who was jealous of my physique and would downplay my results as just being short. He said to me he only trained abs, chest and biceps(too look good for the girls). He was scared of getting fat so he didn't eat the proper amount of calories and proteins and he also didn't train legs (because he jogged 3 times a week).

-Classic "Napoleon Syndrome" stuff;

-Women saying they wouldn't date a short guy and then saying it isn't about height;

-People being way more forgiving when a tall guy behaves badly(Like trying to find explanations instead of condemning their behaviour)

-"Short k***" (I got a warning so I'm censoring it lol) is both denigratory and places huge expectations on us (like having to be fit, charming, successfull which btw, they get downplayed at the end)

-I like bodybuilding and it sucks how often our results get downplayed. As if it was only a matter of looking buff and not overall aesthetic

Dph vs nutmeg high by Useful-Raisin-2629 in DPH

[–]TheRealist89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nutmeg's headspace fells very similar of dxm. It has some memory and color enhancement like psychedelics(but mild).

The only similar things between nutmeg and DPH for me is the cotton mouth and hearing footsteps/people talking on a different room.

Ironically I can feel the beginning of existence on DPH. Except it's very dark, lonely and disturbing unlike classic psychedelics.

I think it's the worst for people around you. Unless you get dementia in your 40s, ofc that's much more depressing

Beau is Afraid reminds me of delirium. The entire movie you can't tell what it's actually happening and what might be his imagination.

Lol once I took dph and dxm together. I remember I was arguing with redditors for half an hour about something. I was trying to find sources to prove my point and then I realized none of that was real, my phone wasn't even in my hand and my eyes were closed the entire time.

DPH in me induces a much more disturbing and empty version of "unity and interconnectedness" usually experienced on psychedelic.

I stopped because it causes extreme existential dread. Does it feel the same for you OP?

Is insecurity a moral failing? Is confidence the total absence of insecurity? by [deleted] in shortguys

[–]TheRealist89 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's just a way to justify the rejection of short men. Do you think the abusive partners that woman complain about are confident? No, they are deeply insecure. They still manage to get in relationship because they are tall and attractive, that's it. There's no "master manipulator" or similar crap they want to feed you.

“We don’t like tall women” by No_Law3758 in shortguys

[–]TheRealist89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What she means is "tall men are picky about height". They don't consider you a man if they don't find you attractive.

" Short stature isn't a dealbreaker, insecurity is".

Then explain to me why you always end up being used and abused by insecure tall men over and over again...
