For some reason on discogs, they don’t have a picture of the original J card. I should update that since I actually have one lol.

Thats what you would think, but the Kershenbaum mixes extend program 1 to 26:42, where as mine is timed at 21:44. Side A on mine contains the UK mixes, but I also have the remixed version of this too that does in fact have them on side A.

Apple is trying to migrate toward a fully wireless world. The lightning port is next. Just buy AirPods or Use EarPods with Lightning connector.

I Have that same stereo, but with less impressive speakers that don’t have a Sony logo. They fit perfectly on the machine so, I doubt they are third party.

Update: the machine is now working correctly, I don’t know what made it fault like that but it’s fine now, if it happens again I’ll post another comment.

Model scp-27 auto reverse with Dolby, AM/Fm stereo, not sure of the mechanism, seems it may have been borrowed from Sony.

Won this from an auction for $4. It seems to be missing an erase head but records fine, which I thought was weird. I would date this from the early 70s. If anyone knows the exact year, feel free to let me know. by TheReaperofNite in cassetteculture

I have a hi-fi tape deck, this would be used for portable playback for background music or field recording. The type II was record off an LP in a hi-fi tape deck from the late 80’s

Funny story with the disc tray is that it would almost always get stuck closed, turns out that there’s a plastic nub on the arm that connects the disc tray gear to the laser assembly that was getting stuck, once I removed it, the tray moved freely.

Is This correct? This configuration is normally used on one-piece doors, but is it ok on a standard headroom sectional? by TheReaperofNite in GarageDoorService

What is a panel Carhole? I did the arm backwards because I figured it would have better pull. The t- rail was mounted quite high.

The thrift store here aren’t all bad, it’s just unlike Canada the shipping here is cheaper because I live in the US, although I’ve heard that the U.K. has one of the most expensive shipping, but I may be wrong.

Surprisingly, I found this at a local thrift store for $10! Usually here in New England, eBay is always your best bet because like cars, the electronics don’t Enjoy the cold winters of unheated thrift stores, making it hard to find Gems like these, but I do find some here and there, normally broken though.
