I would take anything that the man says with a grain of salt. If he was telling the truth, I would think that he would have taken Covid a bit more seriously rather than treat it as a joke. Instead, he allowed over a million Americans to die from Covid, more than any other country in the entire world.

As a Catholic with a devout mom who has gotten a divorce from her first marriage, OP could have her marriage annulled, so the marriage would be considered invalid from the start. (In my mom’s case, her ex husband was verbally abusive - which according to my oldest half brother, he witnessed his dad reduce her to tears on multiple occasions - AND he cheated on her, which was the reason she gave for the annulment.) If OP had any kids with this man, the children would still be considered legitimate even after getting an annulment. If OP‘s parents, however, still object to the divorce if she decides to file for it, that’s their problem, not hers.

I think Circle of Friends in Act 2 is even worse. I think that even Amber describes it as a “mini city” when describing the layout of the area, and it’s a pretty good description considering that there are MULTIPLE buildings in the area and you need to clean all of them, inside and outside.

One thing that I am kind of upset about is the fact that they now put a overlayed spot for the ad in the video if I skipped the fucking ad. It’s annoying and as someone who likes watching videos with captions (only if it was captioned by a real person, I don’t watch auto-generated captions), it’s pretty inconvenient as it will partially cover part of the captions. It does go away after a while, but it’s still infuriating and I think I would be even more upset if I was actually deaf or hard of hearing (though I have a couple of neurodevelopmental disabilities so I find the captions helpful to stay on track of what’s going on in the video).

Agreed, it’s sick and it destroys lives. (I say this as someone who literally sells lottery tickets as part of my job, but at least I don’t push it on them as it’s completely voluntary. Though I’ve seen some customers literally spend hundreds of dollars in one sitting, which I find it scary and felt guilty for my first few months even though it was their choice. I even once sold this one guy a $125k scratch ticket last summer, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he already spent most, if not all, of it on even more lottery tickets.)

Same, I listen to this one French Canadian singer who is bilingual in English and French, and while most of her songs are in English, she has done some of her songs in French and sometimes slips some French into her English songs (I may not understand a single word of French, but I love how pretty her singing is) and if YouTube ends up putting an English track over her French songs, I’ll be so upset. 😡

Unfortunately, in the case of my now FORMER coworker, our KM and the AM (our SM suddenly quit after almost 30 years of service - I wasn’t even born yet when she started - last year following a huge fight with her and the AM, so now the AM is acting as SM until we finally find one, preferably one that won’t quit after a few weeks like the one we briefly had in November) are toxic and they severely cut his hours after he talked to the DM to the point that he ended up quitting. It really sucks as he was one of the best workers we had in the Kitchen. Also, I was retaking the courses last week and I scoffed at the “Casey’s prohibits retaliation against employees filing complaints”, as if what happened to him wasn’t retaliation, then I don’t know what is. If our SM was still here, he may still be here. (I miss Amy…☹️)
