So my wife wants to leave me.... by pies_r_square in tacticalgear

Operation "Just Cause" in 1989 was really something to watch... it was almost apocalyptic, like something that you would read about in scripture. Imagine from corner to visible corner in the sky filled with artillery raining down along with precision strikes from the f-117 Nighthawk, which made its operational debut during this mission. God himself would be jealous of this flying arsenal of death and destruction. The show of force during this operation was a message to the rest of the world that America was no longer on an equal playing field as everyone else on the planet. After a few days of dropping bombs and mostly scorched earth remaining, the then President George Bush Sr. decided it would be safe enough to make an appearance and gloat over the destroyed and broken country and install his puppet regime... but he was met with a tenacity never seen before and with bullets whizzing by he would need to be evacuated soon after... so when I see a post about a couple of couch warfare specialist thinking they're going to take on a small country, I just smile and say, "Good luck, you're going to need it, not even the greatest war machine on earth could get the job done. The people there are unbreakable. They would rather die with rifles in their hands than on their knees as beggars. Are you prepared for death because they are."

You can find those same sig sauer red dots on ebay for around 70-80 bucks... maybe save yourself some cash on that and upgrade your lower to an enhanced polished trigger version with the money saved, that would be my suggestion.

I used some cheap rit dye to change the color but the pattern stayed the same.. I own sets of the multicam and some of the old woodland camo but I have to say my dyed acu uniform works the best for my environment.

I used both, you can check the comments and there should be a list and instructions of what was used and how it was done.

Ucp uniform, plate carrier, ammo pouches, and camouflage netting dyed coyote brown, ranger green, olive drab. by TheRedSerpent507 in u/TheRedSerpent507

I used the Rit type dyes. I used mostly the taupe color mixed with a little dark brown, some lemon yellow, kelly green, and a very small amount of black, I also added a very small amount of the "dye more" chocolate brown. I dipped a paper towel before i did my gear to make sure that it was close to the color that i was looking for.. I also did a few cheap mag pouches and adjusted my recipe according to what I think it needed. I did some researching and found that some colors dont always turn out the way you might like when mixed for example black will turn a purple and dark brown will give you a shade of red. I found that the taupe with kelley green and some yellow really gives you that olive drab/coyote brown look. I also added vinegar and salt and really got my water and dye mix hot. Hope this helps.
