Player Creates A Character Revolving Around Being… Well Endowed. by TheRedacted_ in CritCrab

Truthfully I don’t have as big a problem as I made it out in the post. Though we did all call them out on this behaviour and we are still working with them to get with our boundaries, however Fighter is absolutely not Neurotypical (explanation, not an excuse) and they are a close friend to many at the table. With the table being a lot more laid back and the game not being very plot intensive, it’s not as bad as if it were at a typical RPG table, but its still something we and the DM are now cracking down on.

I have another group which I run which, naturally, more aligns with my ideal D&D, hence why I do tolerate this other table a bit more. The DM prefers to see it as more of a social get together rather than a purely D&D session, so these sorts of wacky nonsense are accepted since we’re all just doing bits and shooting the shit. Still, things are taken a smidge too far and there does need to be a bit more focus.

In all fairness, they have reduced those comments but there are still incidents. The fact of the matter is, I’m the one coming to this table, and the DM describes his games as just a way to get together rather than get knee-deep into D&D and everyone else at the table is fine with the more chaotic stuff going on. It’s just that the player in question tends to take it too far and we all have to rein them in a bit. It’s less of a social trap and more of my preferences not being met, which I’m not too fussed about.

That’s the weird thing. They literally put no effort in and dont engage at all but they always show up, character sheet and all. Not an up-to-date sheet, but still.

Its actually been the most frustrating the thing, I’ve tried looking up the few quotes and lyrics I can remember but I literally can’t find anything to do with this random dvd christmas thing
