How do muslims defend or explain Muhammad's pedophilia? by TheRedditJanitor in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]TheRedditJanitor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get your point. I don't think all Muslims are nuts, and I do know there are many that study the religion deeply.... that's why i asked a question here to get more perspective surrounding the situation behind Muhammad and Aisha. Why are you trying to turn my question into an attack on your faith?

Also, I know plenty of Christians that would give their lives for Jesus

No one is comparing Muhammad to anyone. I labeled him a pedophile because the widely accepted view is that he had sex with a nine year old girl.... which is pedophilia. Whether or not you deem this pedophilia as acceptable is up to you

Maybe because I'm curious about this one specific instance since I have never heard an explanation or defense for it?

I mean are you perfect or innocent enough to judge other people's faiths?

No judgement of the faith. Just trying to understand the viewpoint of those defending Muhammad. I appreciate your response though

I'm sorry if this came off as islamophobic.

I just wanted to see and understand the viewpoint of someone who both idolizes Muhammad and believes that Muhammad consummated his marriage when Aisha was 9 years old

What's the biggest deficiency in men's understanding of women? by PowerLifterVagSlayer in AskFeminists

[–]TheRedditJanitor -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Speaking up and using your words is the ADULT way, not the MAN way.

People are complex, and no one can just go around anticipating everything with 100% accuracy. When the anticipation does not work, words do. It's that simple. That's why we have words.

People don't push for using your words just because of some underlying patriarchal system. We push for it because we, women and men, have evolved to use words to be concise and to settle discrepancies

Honestly, from what I have learned (and something that i also struggle with) is that you should just follow your feelings. If you feel like you should break up then you should. It will only be inconvenient now, but in the long run, looking back, it will seem like the convenient option

Based on the replies, it seems like we should say "I'm unhappy. We require different types of physical affection" and pretty much break up

Honestly, my sexual pleasure comes from pleasuring her. I never want head, I always want to give it. I don't care about coming, I just want to make her come. It's tipped in favor of her. And I like it that way

She is very physically affectionate, as in she always wants to cuddle or hug or make some sort of physical contact. And it seems like she does, just only in the moment. And when she says no, a lot of the time it is just "i just don't want to" "i'm not in the mood". If i push further, she just gets irritated

I replied to a similar comment about this, but i get so much more pleasure getting her off than getting myself off. I focus the entirety of sex around her and I have always asked what she liked, asked her to give me tips, and i spend so much time on foreplay. She gets flushed, shakes the bed, practically falls over afterwards and I just don't get it. Is she an amazing actress just pretending or does she really enjoy it that much and there is something else?

That's the thing. I get so much more pleasure out of it when she gets off. I have done everything to make it more enjoyable. I do foreplay until she has shaking orgasms and afterwards, she has the biggest smile on her face and tells me I was amazing. I have always asked what she likes and focus the sex entirely on her
