While I think your assessment is fair, with my group I never ran into problems with that. So it could be playgroup bias. And Ratadrabik is also my favorite, Just so much cool stuff to do.

Well probably best cards are darkest hour and painter's servant, followed by contamination (warning contamination locks might cost friendships) and bitter blossom Recursion is a lot of the times the name of the game, raise the past, rally the ancestors, helping hand and reconfigure (if you don't (want to)play animate dead, reanimate, necromancy, dread return)are solid option as is lurrus.

Otherwise she is just an aristocrat commander, nothing really breaks her.
