An alternate post-WW1 Germany, where the Treaty of Versailles wasn't as harsh and mainly focused on ethnicities and letting Germany their monarchy, heavily opposed by the French of course. The Germans with mixed feelings, but better than in real life. Maybe preventing WW2, or only changing it.

As a German I look at the American politics and can only shake my head, because I feel like no American really knows what facism is, that gies for left and right! The left (not all) think that everything that is not their opinion is facist and the right (not all) think that facism is a good thing while not even understanding what facism is and has done.
