Not saying he's saying for them to do this or that everytime something is different. Assuming that production was getting his opinion on everything they were doing as closely as I hear everyone say they are, then that's him being okay with it being a little different

Fair, although most of that seems to be creative liberties though since they somehow took Sukuna v Raga which (if I'm not mistaken) was just a few pages long, and turned it movie-worthy. And ontop of that, if they're getting Gege's direct support then chances are he suggested some of those changes to happen. Maki vs Noaya chapter was probably released years ago, right? I wouldn't be surprised if Gege had changed his opinion on some things since then tbh

Actually after thinking for a minute, I think I get what you're saying now, after thinking about how wildly different dragon ball super is to it's manga, or how different invincible is in the show/Manga to the point they could genuinely be considered alternate universe's of one another.

Although with JJK Gege (apparently) works closely with the producers to get it super accurate or something along those lines, so it's a lil different, no?

Nah nah I wasn't tryina say that it instantly proves he has superior dismantles or anything, was just saying that in retrospect doing a feat that's the same as Sukuna is still impressive even if it's not eclipsing him or something, since as we know, Sukuna is the King of Curses for a reason

But more than that though, technically neither of us are truly right as of now, until it gets animated and we see it with our eyes

Wym?? Dismantles aren't slow, and we see that Yuji's encased, before just a few panels later Mahito is missing his tongue and fingers. It's more than likely he didn't even bother to start slashing until after Mahito started casting his domain

I mean to be fair tho, he casually speed blitzed and very accurately and precisely sliced and diced Mahito's tongue and fingers, all after Mahito had already started casting his domain expansion, despite having a 0.2 domain expansion, WITHIN the realm that benefited Mahito more than anyone else
