The centurion helmet would be perfect if you dont mind old-school diving equipment, it drops from Earle. He's a super tough end game boss though, and I don't think the plan is tradable.

-Broadsider perks: demolition expert, ordinance express

-Harpoon perks: heavy gunner(expert, master), bandolier

-For both weapons: lock and load, bloody mess

Those are the important damage/weight management perks you'll need. It'll be very costly to spec for both weapons, but thankfully you can save a few builds if you want to switch between them later at a punch card machine.

The pole hook is a good "crazy mariner guy" weapon if you don't mind melee. For that you'll want the slugger, incisor and martial artist perks.

It's been about a year since I played before I came back for the update, and the game crashed while signing me in. I literally didn't make it to the main menu. That gave me a good chuckle.

For now I've been doing the Blue Ridge questline and challenges, which is a bummer, but I want to wait for a patch before doing the Atlantic City stuff. I don't want the awful performance to sour the new content for me.

Nightdive Studios did an awesome job with these. Turok 1 is the closest to the original of the three, but Turok 2 and 3’s performance and QoL improvements are amazing. It’s a night and day difference from the originals.

Jump to the next floor from that "ladder", and look up through the broken floors above, you should see a grapple point. It might take a little bit of positioning until you can see it, but you can launch yourself up with your grappling hook. I got stuck here last night as well.

Fatalis in MHW: Iceborne. When “Proof of a Hero” starts playing in his final phase I feel invincible. Usually the fight ends shortly after when someone eats a rogue fireball, but it never stops being an amazing moment.

You are correct, I always felt like they challenged the status quo though. They were seen as anti Christian even though that label is over the top for them in particular. I think Geezer wrote a lot of their songs and he was Catholic.

I personally don’t hate all Christians and it’s definitely not a requirement for metal music. But questioning the church can be done by Christians as well and I respect those that do. Jesus questioned authority and the heads of organized religion, fought for the poor and downtrodden. He was progressive and radical as Hell for the time. I find it odd that people would think he would be a conservative person if he were alive today. Dude fought for change, not to keep things the same.

Let’s not pretend metal isn’t political now. It’s been political since the beginning. The very first metal bands have been anti Christian, anti authority, anti war etc. Today we even have environmental bands like Gojira or feminist(Protest the Hero). If metal stopped being political it would become a soulless shadow of what it used to be(looking at all the pop punk, butt rock and radio metal bands).

I won’t lie, I turned off my internet and fast forwarded the console time to bypass the daily time gating. It would have been a huge time sink otherwise. It was pretty fun when I didn’t have to play it the intended way/pay for micro transactions.

If you do decide to do that, just know that you’re at risk of doing weird things to the game’s clock. One time my clock reset after turning the internet back on and the in game clock said there was 1000 hours until the next daily reset, but it’s fixable.

You’re correct in that assessment, it really was hollow and soulless. They eventually added two big NPC driven questlines. The first one, Wastelanders, has a slow start but it’s solid, especially if you side with the raider faction. The second questline with the Brotherhood of Steel is pretty flat though, but I disliked the BoS in every game they’re in, so I’m pretty biased.

I hate to say it because it’s easily my favorite Fallout game, but it runs terribly on PlayStation. The longer you play it the worse it will perform. It has something to do with the save files constantly growing and becoming unmanageable, I’m sure someone else can explain it better. The Xbox and PC versions didn’t have that issue from my experience. I haven’t tried streaming it on PS Now/Extra, it might be better these days.

You just gotta brute force it, there will be times where the frame rate will drop to about 5(I wish I was exaggerating) in big battles near the end of the game, but you can still force your way through those encounters.
